  1. I get that sometimes there's a balance to be had, a time to be probing, a time to be easy with it. A good relationship is better for everyone after all. But do you have to sound like such a dimwit? "It'll be good when Wissa scores won't it?" Yes, Lee. Now come on, bedtime.
  2. Great work, @Coffee_Johnny. 2022 was ludicrous. Had the cup run too.

Yeah. Proper 'get in there and make it about you' vibes.
  4. Just seen the goal on MotD. That's vintage Isak, like. Total bullseye, generating a disproportionate amount of power based on how he struck the ball. Arrr. Fucking arseholes.

Yesterday was easily his most pleasing goal from the point of view of believing we have a true goalscorer on our hands. He's 6'7 so the least I'd expect for nearly £70million is a few headed goals, but that chip yesterday was a proper finisher's finish. Great to see and brilliant that he's kicking up a gear in general play too.

I think he was headed for Bayern and by the time that had collapsed, we were the only ones who could still afford to get him.
  7. Love to see it. Another L for the "just sign someone!" brigade from the summer. This is the toss you can end up with when you gamble on lower priced strikers from the continent.

It was absolutely exceptional from Dewsbury-Hall. Sorta goal that, if scored in the 90s, we all get to hear Barry Davies ejaculate over. Wouldn't be giving a hard time to any of our defenders over it; was a brilliant ball and a world class take and finish.
  9. Absolutely punishing from Fulham, like. Good for them, the pointless bastards.
  10. Pope on fucking steroids there
  11. A year ago today we couldn't even muster a shot at Palace, so I think that shows the strides we've made.
  12. Didn't see a kick and barely followed it. Just absolutely ecstatic with the win. The boss badly needed that, like. Those utterly dismal away turnarounds couldn't go on. Can't wait for the highlights.
  13. If one of the mods actually watching the game could handle thread title doodies that would be great
  14. Can't believe we've scored so early again. Can't watch cos of family stuff. Probably for the best.
  15. Feel absolutely ill ahead of this. I'm an awful wreck following us these days, can't hack it.
  16. Howe said he's been carrying a back injury fwiw.
  17. Not really; mostly dire record against them through the teens (certainly away from home) but W3 D2 L3 since the takeover, so a mixed bag. Trippier FK, Almiron wonderstrike and pummeling them 4-1 at Goodison provides some good memories. Should absolutely have been a home win in 23/24 too, with VAR chalking off a perfectly good goal before Paul Dummett chucked one in for them out of nowhere. Everton are unpredictable this year. Moyes and some good players, but new stadium vibes means there's something here for us. Tough one to call. Just dearly fucking hope we don't lose from a winning position again. My heart can't take it. Would almost take a 0-0 ahead of us scoring early.
  18. Reminds me that maze in Driver 2 where you go and get the Mini Cooper (and inevitably smash it to bits after about five minutes).
  19. Good round for Ligue Uh. Three Premier League sides vanquished, with Lyon and Lille winning too. Think only Monaco dropped a point or two with that silly draw in Cyprus.
  20. Have always guessed it might be something to do with how, by demonstrating the scale of stock they have, they legitimise themselves as the market leader in that industry. So just having them sat on the website is as much use to them as selling them, as a means of consolidating their reputation. Then I suppose if you're a customer you're paying for the certainty that buying from CFS gives you.

Beyond a pet hate for me, for him and his kind. Utterly rancid and an active agent in the escalation of the transfer market becoming a total joke. I'm hoping that eventually people en masse will see through the veil of journalism for what he is - a facilitator - and in doing so he'll lose his cache.
