Reina was a disgrace. Attempted headbut in a football match? Classy.
-
If Parky did Sundays they would be like this.
-
Sweet. A perfect sunday rounded off with some marinated lamb laters.
-
There were phases of play where we were actually majestic. Cisse is lethal.
-
One of the most satisfying wins ever. With the bonus they lose Reina for 3 games.
-
First 15min will be crucial.

Hatem takes charge.

Knew straight away. Dave is too organised to be missing paying bills.
-
If we get an early goal their minds will be broken.

They're coming......... http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSPurpGcuGjqes0x3WesSUsKD9Mmh6J-fxlQT2LzsWOh8Y2rpCe

Pards needs to relax a bit on all his 'planning' and so on...The team looked like they were enjoying themselves on Sunday.

Against Liverpool he'll get a free pass from me. I think it's unfair to judge a team harshly when your entire central defence is missing and you are playing a right back there. As to swingometers I really don't think Newcastle fans are that dumb. For me it's always been about seeing the players set up in the right way to make the most of their talent and yesterday was just that. We looked like a quality football team playing modern day football intelligently. Results can go either way but if the team is well organised that's all you can ask of a manager. Yep, credit was given for the first 15 mins against Norwich and criticism for the rest, credit is given for the whole game yesterday. It's not about swinging from one extreme from the next, it's being consistent in what you expect to see from the team i.e. a coherent game plan that suits our players and the way we need to approach the game. Yup.

Seconded. I've had a few pops at him, but if he continues like this then everything is back on the table.
-
Think it will be cause we have a player in a free role who can make it work. Pards seemed overjoyed so we might see the end of the hoofball.

Just before he scored, the slight feint where le looked like he was going to shoot then just shifted it before putting it away....you can't put into words the magic in stuff like that. Any football fan outside of wearside must look forward to watching this lad play. That was just to steal some space to make the angle. It's all instictive. It's poetry basically. Hit the shot with a bit of top so it didn't come back toward the keeper (no curl). edit: And what Lenny said earlier. ^^

Both articles are spot on. Delusion reigns at Anfield. They need a proper manager with a plan to rebuild a flexible modern side with an emphasis on youth and fluidity. What they have is a geriatric in a wheelchair who's fumbling for his glasses. If I was them I'd get Rodgers sharpish and rebuild the once legenday Anfield scouting system.

Think he'll just miss one game.

Modern football is all about the 433. With Hba/Cisse/Ba we have the tools to do it with some tweaking in the summer transfer window. *Hba should have a loose AM free role as he did popping up on the left and so on...
-
The noises Dalglish is making about tired players means he wants to buy more this summer.
-
A benchmark 45 min display of loose AM play. Fantastic. We've waited for it and it was worth the wait. The one two with Ba and laying on the Cisse goal the highlight for me.
-
Collo off and they've gone to pieces at the back.

The master orchestrating.
