No worries man. Yes it probably was the title. But you have to understand this is going on at a lot of clubs around the country and it is always a delicate balance between motivating highly paid and financially independant players and demoralising them with too much control. The fact is Roeder really didn't have the skills to do either...I'm not really looking to aportion blame at the moment, but if players were acting in the wrong way in terms of the club they will be disciplines when Sam comes in. Yes I agree some of the players have been rather flagrant, but there is more to building team spirit than just the correct managers...I don't think we have the correct mix of personalities in the playing staff either.

It's frustrating though because it has led to the mishandling of N'Zogbia. Didn't want to deal with the asenior players getting in his face if Duff was dropped and so he drops Charlie even though he deserved his chance? That is out of order too. You have the advantage cause you know my stance on Zoggy. But what I will say that it the height of bad form (not neccessarily by you) but these leaks. Some of the best managers in the world have lost the dressing room at least once in their careers. Rijkaard for one comes to mind right now. It's not something we need crucify Roeder for. San will sort this out.

Out of order. It is widely acknowledged GR did his best but ulitmately it wasn't good enough. I can't see any reason for this kind of mudslinging.

A parasite that re-invests his dividends to buy more shares. Mmmm...

These are the crucial stages. At least he has learned from past mistakes and improved on his timing. Small steps for Fat Fred though, he has a long distance to recover from. First time I've seen him ahead in a poll on this site. Must say something.

Been watching you for a while fatty and have some inkling of the cogs and gears - the whirrings of the FS psyche. So I feel I know that this time you have stuck to your guns and not let things cloud your mind and set aside your sometimes petty ego driven descisions. You took it on the chin that 'Big Sam' turned you down before, but you have stuck to your gut feeling that he is the man (for what it's worth many of us agree on nearly all the rationale). For you this is a quantum move and shouldn't be underestimated. Also you have resisted the overtures of Sven's cash train and shown his advisors the door (again history will probably prove you were right). To complete the hatrrick you never even called Houllier back, knowing deep down that for all his skills his mind is probably too weak for this job, let alone his heart....The French league after all is semi-retirement. And finally getting Roeder out before pre-season and the summer shows you are getting the hang of this job and who knows one day you might be a natural. Well done Fatty!!

They will all be out bar Clarkie. I can't see it any other way.

Like you maintained to the bitter end that Rodent would be manager next season?
-
Simple if you look at the league table but for a 2/3 lucky wins we would have been relegated. *I don't want to make any more posts about that muppet*. >

No, he was dropped because we'd bought Duff to play in his place. That you've said it already on here just means you've been wrong twice, so it doesn't help you really. Roeder has created the problem by buying Duff, it's as simple as that. I'm sure N'Zogbia may have sulked a bit about it, but who wouldn't honestly? You're young, playing in a foreign country and the manager sells your best friend, Boumsong, at the club (correctly), but not before slagging him off publicly despite the fact that he's had personal problems (wrongly). He then goes and buys someone to play in your position, despite the fact that you were widely acknowledged to be one of the best players on the team the year beforehand. So you're demoted to the bench while the rest of the team which you at times carried last season gets to keep their place. Honestly, would anyone here want to play for a club who did that to you? Like fuck you would. ....I'd like to add that his main bone of contention is that Roeder made it clear that Duff was NO.1.

I agree, whether he had a right to storm out or not because of the way he's been treated, he's just fucked up his future as this club by storming out the way he did. Regardless of how much he's been left out, he now looks like the bad guy and the next manager will want him out as soon as possible and that's a big shame. If he'd weathered the storm, he'd still have a future here. Kindergarten stuff for Sam surely...Having sorted Diouf.
-
Aye, this is the core of it. ROEDER created the problem single handed.
-
Firstly it's a managerial fuck up ie Roeder and now Pisson has followed through without having a chat with the lad. All teams have difficult players, managers are paid to handle them. I don't for one moment belive he actually is a difficult player mind. He's yound and talented and he's under a lot of pressure.
-
Milner is average he knows he has to try harder.
-
Hopefully this will be the case. Zoggy has been hard done by and I still stand by him. Wouldn't have bothered me if he'd thrown the ice water over Roeder or Pisson.
-
Classic toon: Our worst player crocks our best player. Stay away Sam this club will destroy your mind.
-
I have some sympathy with FS on this as well. This was perhaps an attempt to put Owen in place after all the paper talk.
-
Seriously Obi half on here are ready to throw themselves off a cliff......Is it wise to encourage them?
-
Zoggy will be talked round I feel.

It's about right for a top line manager and imo he's getting what he's worth. I would imagine only Fergie and Moaney are on more. I really beleive we have the best of all worlds with Sam and setting some of his weaknesses aside the TIMING is right for us and HIM. For Sam this will be the signature job of his career.
