  1. Those fukin cutesy retro glasses. I want to put him in a cannon and aim it up Ashleys arse.
  2. He goes around making out he's some kind of mini-Mourinho. It beggars belief.
  3. Pardew is constantly grasping for excuses, it just goes on and on...I don't need to go into it cause we all know what they are...At the last count there was at least a dozen. He says he's a professional manager..Well he isn't he's a straw man laying down nonsense for a careless and pathetic regime void of ideas apart from scurrying around looking for cheap deals and cheap advertising. I hate Pardew far more than Ashley..I can understand Ashley because he made his money the hard way and he sets his own standards and he's allowed to cause at the end of the day it's his money not anybody elses. He's frugal, he's ignorant about the greater world (outside of his little business bubble) and he's childish...All the hallmarks of a self-made man. The psychological breakdown of Pardew is far darker and far sadder and devoid of any redeeming qualities. His bluster and his ridiculous ego and his pitiful schemes with regard to manipulating our opinions and throwing out quotes that distract us from his and the regimes blunders frames him as the real Judas. What kind of professional doesn't want the best for their workplace? What kind of leader lies and slithers after every bump in the road? One that is only interested in his own skin. Pardew is a shameful apologist who cares not one bit about the club and won't step out of line one mm to get the tools he needs to do his job. It's not a job to him it's a gravy train.
  4. He's sort of touched on it before, I was surprised he got away with these comments as I honestly thought he might get reprimanded/binned for them: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/newcastle-owner-mike-ashley-gets-confused-and-upset-with-football-claims-magpies-manager-alan-pardew-8878591.html He balanced that with the Ashley taking care of the debt stuff. Football is about competing regardless of circumstances imo. It shows a lack of awareness and character to keep banging on about not being able to compete. If you don't think you can compete you're in the wrong job. Good managers never say they can't compete...It's the laziest excuse in the book. You don't see Tony Pulis going on about it...He's out Palace within reach of survival in a matter of weeks with a squad that is woeful. Did he ever say they couldn't compete? No.
  5. Pardew is the key apologist and for the regime let's not forget that. His primary function is to silver tongue his way out of tricky moments. All that has happened is that the Mail journalist has asked some tough questions and he wasn't ready for it and was actually surprised and tongue tied by it. However it's the closest he's come to criticising the regime without actually coming out with it.
  6. They're saving money for a wind farm.
  7. In total cahoots with the fat one.
  8. Has no real say in transfers basically...Made comments about replacing Cabaye and basically regrets it and tried to side step..
  9. Jaw dropping that there are still people that think Pardew isn't in on it all.

Last thing he needs imo. Needs games but his height, build and unpredictable style make him what he is. Bulk him up and those comparing him to Shola will be closer to the truth. Just a little bit then. Ickle bit.

Been quite impressed with him last couple of games. Seems to have good ball skills and occasionally just ghosts past players. Needs to put on some chunk.
  12. Must admit I've developed a hatred for Santoine over the last few months.

he's basically the summary of the lack of any investment. He's clearly not up to premier league standard on any kind of consistent basis as a striker with only flashes of competence but the unwillingness to actively replace him means he stays around as we need something up front. Now I don't blame him in the slightest for staying I would do the exact same thing in his boots nor will I ever hate him as he seems a nice guy never caused any bother or bad headlines or generally dragged the name of the club down and hating someone because they're bad at football is not a good reason in the slightest. Apart from that time he said he'd been robbed and it turned out he'd left the flat messy. Sums him up really.
  14. Yeah, Krul was fuming. Never seen him as mad as that before If Krul and Santon had a fight it would go on for 15hrs...Hairdressers would be on red alert.
  15. Pure drivel. Might as well not have a def there. Never looked around to see who was behind him...Just jogging back as he usually does. I've never actually ever seen him run back at full pace. Loves himself and now to make things worse hanging around dead ball situations. Barely kick a ball straight. Haidara for me now - all the way.
  16. It's clear from today and the comments he's been making that the only way he thinks there is of playing without Cabaye is to launch the ball into orbit and I suspect that's what we're going to do from now on. Not sure if he's noticed that there's 19 teams in the league that also don't have Yohan Cabaye. He won't because he hasn't got an ounce of conviction in his body. He'll try long ball for a few games, then when we lose he'll try passing, then when we lose again, back to the long ball etc. I'd actually have more respect for him if he just stuck to his guns, which is obviously hoofing it. Yeah he does swap it around every few games like and then in games he swaps it around...Players it's why his failure is so easy to predict over the long term. A manager with no idea of how to implement a gameplan can only wing it with random wins for so long. It's why they were so relaxed...Under Poyet they do the same every game with minor tweaks. It's like the left back hit a cross field pass to Johnson and the commentator said "he didn't even look" as if it was a bad thing...He didn't have to. That's what happens when you ingrain a system, everything becomes second nature.
  17. Yeah Willo is some kind of Libero on crack...
