Filled with (french) mercenaries and folk on loan....it's like the Expendables 3!

It's great for US to play a f***ing s*** team. WHY would we lose a physical game? I thought our levels were better than ever? WHY is he worried about the reports he's received on MORE f***ing CAMBE? Easy Alan....... you might have me slapping the Braveheart warpaint on with stirring speeches like that.

Not to mention Scott Sellars on the left. Now that's what you call quality delivery. Football felt better then, more fun like Scott Sellars, jeez KK knew when to time the buying of a player. Robert Lee was handing sitters on a plate to Cole every game. Good fecking times!

Surely as long as you get through with minimal amount of squad damage, it's a good night. The aim is just to be in the next round, that's all that will do regardless of who is selected. The games don't exist in isolation though. The players need some goals and confidence. They won't get any of that from sitting at home whilst the reserves squeeze through. Quite possibly, but your also running the risk of injuring a Ben Arfa for Saturday or longer. Liverpool lost Toure/Allen/Cissokho though injury, easily done. Could have been a Sturridge or Gerrard. I’d prefer we went through with the kids out but obviously that carries a bigger risk of going out, a mixture of both would suffice for me. I don’t fancy seeing HBA playing that’s for sure though. When Ben Arfa's walking down the street, he could trip and break his leg, or someone could crash into his car. We can't make him a Bubble Boy ( "Moops!" ) I just don't subscribe to the theory that we must wrap players in cotton wool as much as possible. We treat footballers as if playing football is the absolute worst thing they can do for their health and I'm bloody sick of it. A risk ffs. I watch football to be entertained by my team playing good stuff and scoring goals, not to watch some blokes not getting injured. "Great game tonight, awful drab football but wow, they all looked fine at the end" Good God man. I'm with this, play our strongest team injury risking or not, there's nothing to say Ben Arfa or whoever wont get inured after two minutes against Fulham. Lets play well and win a by few goals. Take that confidence into the Fulham game. Something we haven't done for..........god knows. Good God man!?! You been at the juice already?

So the two on loan get in the side ahead of our number 9 striker...sure he'll be pleased. Great management. While i agree, i would hope the manager picks on form, whoever that is. Would love Pards to have the balls to pick players on form. Don't think he's every done it once in his time here. He picks on name only. We've pretty much got an 11 which are guaranteed a starting place no matter how pish they've been. No competition for places bar left back slot. Too many players coasting along.

Seems weird. Maybe Pards is stalking? Pards is secrely whoring himself to other clubs?

Shh!! Don't tell them. Pardew is a fantastic manager who can get them to 5th spot. We're extremely sad to see him go but can't stand in the way of his progression to a club with more financial muscle than us.

Toon fan at work mentioned a rumour that he's been lined up to replace Holloway at Palace (?!).

Missed the game on saturday but can anyone confirm that there was pro-pardew chants being sung?

True, you could also tell he has missed a chunk of pre season, he looked way off the pace. And his play on Monday night didn't look like someone who could lose his place (to Remy) in a few games time. -

when does the official site put up (inspirational) pictures of training before match days? Should be easy to spot. His head's been turned so he should look like that lass fae The Exorcist.
