  1. Anyone got a screencap of that? Will i get banned if I post it?
  2. Nice one i didnt know now thats a bonus ive got a barclaycard and i have to pay interest on my season ticket! Must be a Beckett rate. Serously though, give them a ring; you shouldn't pay interest. http://www.barclaycardfootball.co.uk/card-details/index.php?previous_page_id=34&link_type=BD Not availiable to students, apparently. http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/8792/barclaycardkf5.th.jpg

    Glen Johnson

Carr - Talented player whose legs have gone. Johnson - Young. fit but hopeless. Wouldn't be any further forward, imo.
  4. It's a great deal. They're only getting the money they would eventually get off me anyway, but now I'll get free cup tickets. If I whack the whole lot on the Barclaycard, I'll not pay any interest on it. (0% for season tickets for anyone who didn't already know) Result.
  5. Always someone with an axe to grind.
  6. Shorey looked out of his depth. When they showed the bench towards the end of the game, Owen had a face like a smacked arse, and Taylor looked like he was going to cry. Poor Taylor- Wes Brown was hopeless.

That'll be the ones who pretend to go, but actually base their match opinions on SSN and MOTD. Ooh, unsubstantiated inferences. Nice.
  8. http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h312/mcfcdean/4zaq593.gif Bwahahaha!!!! mackems.gif How that any different from posting Chopra's miss in a friendly?
  9. Hiding behind Mort doesn't fill me with trust for the guy, but I should be grateful we haven't got an egomaniac like Bates, Shepherd or Risdale. Might he sell up? EVERY club has its price.

Intrusive advertising aside, I agreed with everything they said. Their concern with the sluggish performance of Viduka and dislike of playing Geremi and Butt together echoed comments I had made earlier. Their comments on the booing were spot on. Didn't come across as holier than thou at all. An honest assessment of the game, which would have been dissed as negative by some on here.
  11. I've received a PM and have been put in my place. Apologies to all the support, wherever you're based.
  12. F*cking cheek. "I'm not one to talk" doesn't excuse that. Oh f*** off. The supporters overseas are just as much a part of the fanbase. We pay those ridiculous prices for team swag, and then almost the same just to have it shipped. Don't try some bullshit about how we are lesser supporters. It's even harder here in the US where 90% of PL fans are for Chelsea, Man U and Arsenal. But I'll tell you 1 thing for sure. People here want to talk about getting into the top 4; if you watched the Liverpool game on TV today, you can easily see the difference in an atmosphere for the home side. Could just as well have been an away game for us yesterday. You're not a supporter, you're a fan. No position to slag off people who actually went yesterday. I'll tell you what. Come to NYC, and go to Nevada Smith's on a gameday and tell the Toon supporters there that they are just fans because they don't live in the UK. I get the feeling that you would fell like you were back in the middle of the heyday of hooliganism. Internet hardman. They could kick me all over. They'd still be wrong, though. I'm sure plenty of nonces in prison could give me a kicking. Would make them better than me in your way of thinking. Wow. You are calling me names, after saying that there is no supporters outside of St James'. Did you have to work to achieve that level of stupidity or does it come naturally? If yours was the prevalent feeling among Geordies, NUFC would be stuck in League 1 with Leeds, millions more in debt. FFS, it costs me more to order a damn scarf than it does for you to go to a damn game. Attitudes like yours try to hold the team back rather than take it forward. It's pretty sad really. Yes, that's exactly why Leeds went bankrupt. They ignored the American market. (Wow, yankee bought a f****** scarf) I agreed with you until you made this an UK vs. US issue, which is just ridiculous. S.S.R. = Super Stevie Returns. Hey, that's not true. I'm very grateful for your completely arbitrary and tenuous interest in my local team.

How much noise did you contribute yesterday? None. So....

  17. Saying that things need to to be changed after 2 games. We did look s*** at times yesterday but that doesnt mean that any sort of football philosophy needs to be changed, just needs practicing in my opinion, were going in the right direction. Its not all about people saying we were s***, thats fair enough, its people saying we're a class act after one game and then saying things need to be changed after we draw against Villa. Things do need to be changed though, a midfield of Butt, Geremi and Smith at home is shocking and creates nothing, at least at Bolton Allardyce had decent ball players in midfield in Speed and Campo but the lads we've got will create very little. It was one game against one team. Last week in one game against one team it worked swimmingly, Our first two goals were due to Bolton's inability to clear and the third was a fluke. Bolton handed us that game on a silver platter. The second half was uninspiring, and the way Bolton cut straight through the middle for their goal was repeated a couple of times against Villa. We've got a long way to go. Hopefully with Barton, Faye and Enrique we'll look a different prospect.
  18. Do you think booing the players after a draw will help Sam and what he's trying to achieve then? It's not a question of being holier than thou, but your reaction to one game is certainly thicker than thick. What an utter disappointing reaction to a point well made. Also, nothing too wrong with that Neil Farrington article. Why can't people just call it like it is and say we were lucky to get a draw and we will need to do better..? We were s**** but if you say we were s**** then you're an idiot. GREAT. Exactly. Not allowed to point out what went wrong without being perceived as 'Kneejerk' or being a 'Doom and Gloom merchant'. I'm quite positive about Sam's plans for the club, but I'm not going to say the last two games were anything but average. I'dbangawhore got through in the same fashion as Anelka did last week. Laursen got a f****** free header (to quote Steve Harper) Allardyce waited far too long to take Viduka off. Keep Viduka away from the box and he's neutered. Alan Smith's daft two-footed challenges to try and cover the fact he did f*** all else. Postives - Harper, Martins, Milner, Halford, Anderson, Rozenhal, Ameobi(!)
  19. Thats a bit of a gross generalisation. Either way, youre opinion on seniors seems the same as your opinion on students and single parents, yet seniors get discounts You been to college or uni before? Im not being funny with you or owt. Genuine question Is this where you assume I'm a thicko because I got a job at 16? Nah, I did too for a couple of years. Just wondering whether you had been a student. If you had then maybe your opinion would be different. Maybe so. I wonder if anyone else had worked for 35 hours for £80, they might get the 'If you want something, work for it' concept. i've worked 55 hours for £50 for three weeks in a row, and also got a degree. woohoo!!! What year was that?
  20. If we're playing at home, I demand N'Zogbia and Milner on each flank. Duff is slower than either, so he can play second fiddle. Play either Butt or Geremi, not both. Replace Carr with anyone who is right-footed and capable of running.
  21. Responding to an opinion makes you a sanctimonious c*** but posting your opinion fastest means you're right? It's all about debate mate. If someone said, "Well, actually I thought so-and-so had a good game, because.." that would be a debate. Saying "Oooh, don't be nasty, we can't win them all" when you dare say someone wasn't up to scratch today isn't a debate. As a performance, it wasn't bad, it was just... ...stale. Toothless. I'm not looking for a debate on how people should debate the game. I don't see how an opinion is sanctomonious when we've all seen the same game. No-one has more insight of it than anyone else. it's all opinion. There are certain people on the board that won't stand for any negative criticism. Happy clappers. But Owen was s*** and shouldn't get near an England squad should he? Can he play 90 minutes for us first? What BSA said after a 3-1 win. Which is why I'm confident he'll work out what went wrong today.
