As I REALLY hope we're going to sell Milner, getting SWP at a decent prise would be ideal. However, it is a tough situation, because we'll have very limited funds.

big enough to fit a scarf in them blueyes.gif

Just take it with you! Put it in your pocket and just wave it when they walk out on the field scarf i hope that's what the thread is about so...

I really hope everyone brings it. Needs to make that our "thing". Would be something to take away the focus of our current league-position
-
Ah that's a shame. No one knew me when i signed up late 2005. Meh! ;-) aye, that's not fair! (like i have a fat chance of getting any votes anyway with my stance on our right flank )
-
really? 4th from the top...

Could work when Owen is fit. Dyer and Zoggy as the "wingers". Only problem is that there would be no place for Martins in this formation.
-
Your ROEDOMETER needs an update
-
Good that we don't play him. He'll be off in a month anyway. Better to try and form a partnership
-
It was the Zog that beat him though, wasn't it? blueconfused.gif Zog's pass was the one that beat James, if I remember correctly. Sibbers had an open goal.

alternativly first league win in10. good finish when onside aswell from martins! I know, but lets be positive, eh? We've lost 2 of the last 11 doesn't actually sound that bad . :D
-
So, if we had all strikers available, you'd play Ameobi and Owen? What part of 2 of the first 3 choices didn't you get. tongue.gif tough one, probably the of the first part...

We haven't lost for five games and three of them have been wins. Impressive for a team who's form is bad
-
that was from the wigan end cheescake. The spurs end was sold out as per usual. Well fancy that. Pompey barely had half their allocation full today. How much is the away allocation, by the way?
-
Really. Edit: That wasmy 1000th post

Think we can say that about the chartlon game aswell, tbh. I think this game is a bit glorified, the first half wasn't that good at all and the first 10-15 minutes of the second half wasn't too encouriging as well. Still, we comfirtably beat the 4th best team this season, so im not disappointed at all

Can't really argue with that. I don't believe Martins to be injury prone player, so lets see if he can find his scoring boots. Him and Sibierski might as well get a partnership. Isn't Huntington a central defender? Would be smarter to play taylor to the right, since he's got more experience. otherwise, that's probably the team that should be played It's doing that thing that was done with Taylor and Ramage, starting a CB at RB for his first few appearances then switch him to CB. It's too much to ask Huntington to start at CB I reckon, it's less demanding at fullback. You got a point, though I think that it'd be better to play him in his natural position

I know, and I'm one of the Luque-supporters. Didn't know how to fit him in. Want to see O'Brien, been a fan of his since some game I saw him play, like his pace and I think he might become a very good player. Perhaps rest Nobby and play Luque to the right?

Duff will not be missed, 5 million down the drain which could have been spent where we needed it rather than just because he appeared to be a bargain. Think you, and many more, are giving up on Duff too early.
