Why not give an argument against play-offs rather than snide comments. Would be a lot more interesting. Too many reasons to go over, but first of all it's not as fair as having the team that wins the league being champions. It also makes league games less important and less interesting as they don't really matter that much. The league is also more interesting as it is, with it's many tiers of trying to reach CL, EL, avoiding relegation (EL not being a priority is UEFA's fault, not the PL) than it would be with a play off. Finally, play offs doesn't even solve the problem it sets out to do unless you start implementing a whole other bunch of rules, the rich teams would still win it most of the time. A better way to "fix" the PL is for UEFA to make the EL actually matter financially and give CL places to the FA cup.

Kaizero is so pathetically in love with America and their sports that he cannot see anything wrong with it, no point even debating it with him.
-
Is he trying to say that Pardew brought all of those to the club he was managing?
-
They don't even seem that bothered about having failed to score in their last five league games As Pards himself would say: 'We're 8th, we've done brilliant job'.
-
"They are away from home, chasing Europe and notoriously inconsistent. The pressure is all on them. Play Macarthur, Cabaye, and Jedi in midfield. Stick Jedi on Son. Then sit back, tire them out, and hit them on the break. We have every chance." The middle bit sounds like Pardew himself could have posted it. Not so much the positivity though.

Hope he continues to blame the keeper and keeps not scoring.

5 (five) away goals this season

Don't rate Townsend, and you have to worry about signing a player for close to our record fee that has never really made it at Spurs. Much rather put that money towards Berahino.
-
It'd be the same formation but with Berahino instead of Perez.

Rubbish, one point from their last five games or something like that. Obviously they beat us in the cup in the middle of that run though. Fancy us to pick up where we left off and get a win tbh, confidence will be up. A normal team would do that aye, but this is Newcastle so we'll lose 2-0 with barely creating a chance all game.

Elliot Janmaat Mbemba Coloccini Colback Shelvey Saivet Sissoko Wijnaldum Perez Mitrovic Assuming Dummett is out.
-
Probably, but they're used to using their heads from age 6, so if you took their helmets away now you'd just have a killing field. So, you're saying that yes, it would be much better? At least there would be something mildly interesting happening.

Two points per goal, three if it's outside the penalty area.

How so? Those managers don't do well in the cups as it is right now. They'd only have to play against the big teams in the playoffs, there wouldn't be any need to attack or try to create something such as there would be if they played a smaller team What about in the CL or any competition for that matter? When Barca, Bayern or Real play a lesser team who defends and plays that style, they usually win. The best team always wins no matter what. That's just how it is. They are so much better than the other teams that it doesn't matter. It isn't fair that a team like Liverpool who rely on hard running and counter attacking with not much quality or flair beat Arsenal in a one-off game, having finished 20 points behind them and then they win the league The part in bold is your only legitimate argument. It's perfectly valid and why the current setup is far superior. The styles of teams is personal preference and meaningless. Aye, that part in bold has nowt to do with the point he's been making up until then. I think most of us agrees that play offs are stupid, and much for that reason, but it has nowt to do with style of play.

Pardew's record against Man City and Arsenal is great IIRC.
-
Well done on missing the point spectacularly Oh, don't worry, I get our point. I'm just making fun of it because it's spectacularly unfounded.
-
I just wish that German team won the last WC wouldn't have been so defensive. Boring cunts only scored 7 in the semi final, not even double figures man.
-
Plenty of reasons why it's a crap idea, the defensive teams winning is definitely not one of them though.
-
What's the away goal rule like here? Count only in ET or something like that?
-
Emenike was fantastic on FIFA a few years ago, hope West Ham don't get him.
-
If Haidara, Dummett and Mbabu are all out, then yes he should stay in the team at left back. In any other circumstances the only thing he should stay in is a speeding car heading for a cliff.
-
We should be in for him ffs. Fuck Townsend and Phillips, much rather have Montero
