Solano was head and shoulders above Valencia as a footballer like. Valencia is basically just a pure athlete, relies on strength and pace. Solano had an incredible footballing brain and was just so much better on the ball. Disagree with just about every word in that post

They deserved to be level whether they scored or not, Pardew knew this and would have addressed it at ht. Aye, just need to look at the Blackburn game to see this. Still think Colo should have stayed on Keane, but I can see why he would try and take the ball off N'Zogbia.

Fucking Dave, here I was thinking I was going to get my first moderating done in a long time, but he's just too damn quick

I'm sure you were

Dzeko is a bit shit, Tevez is AWOL and Balotelli is good, but not proven or consistent enough. Man U wins for me. Man C has the best midfield by far though (especially when Yaya returns).

It was awesome. A straight up professional re-enactment of palnese's avatar

Valencia's crossing is just superb, and he's got the pace and technique to get loads of them in each game. Reminds me of a quicker Solano.

His performance against Man City in particular had me cursing Souness all over again, just love the absolute commitment and willingness to run himself into the ground - while having bundles of class about his play to boot. Massive arsehole, of course, but an outstanding footballer. He must be class to have on your team when he isn't berating you for misplacing passes to him. For some reason he doesn't get on my tits when he's complaining all the time, just get the feeling that he wants to win so fucking bad. Compared to the likes of Keane, they are miles apart. Bellamy is the only person currently at Liverpool that I can stand, let alone like. Some other players are Mata, Silva, Villa (especially when the three of them were at Valencia), Antonio Valencia, Yaya Toure and Modric.

Tbf he didn't mean to kick him. Parker just got in the way.

Purposely kept away from this thread after his first couple of games, because I knew people where going to knee-jerk and our sensible posters would have to defend him. He was poor in his first couple of games, but I never doubted him for a second, but I never thought he would be this good either. 16 goals in his last 17 games for us or something isn't it? That is nothing short of incredible.

I fucking love Demba Ba Great guy and an even better player.
-
Luiz Suares.
-
I would love it if Saha came on and scored the winner. Ade has been woeful, almost Shola-esque.
-
Has Warnock received a ban yet?
-
Nope, he scored in his second appearance for the club iirc. Yeah, think it was his home debut though.
-
His weak foot? Hit another volley with his left as well, which Dunne (I think) blocked out for a corner. Love it when strikers aren't afraid to use their weak foot
-
They are very fucking good like. Hopefully Rooney and Welbeck wants to prove you wrong today though

Thought he was excellent tbh, and not just the goal. Worked hard, great touch and like Ba he knows where to be in the box. The off side thing don't worry me at all, with a playing style like that he's going to get caught quite a bit, but it's completely different from the off sides that Ameobi and Best tends to get caught as theirs is more because of laziness and poor timing.

Tiote will probably be away a month next season as well, absolute necessity that we get him on a new contract. He's been great, and today he was fucking immense. Worked his bollocks off, great passing and could have had two assists. Fair play for proper stepping up this season
