Can I just ask in what ways has Martins been better than Ameobi the last 2-3 games? Martins have been bad too, but we need his pace.

He was fucking shite today as usual. Winning a penalty (thank god he was fouled or he'd have lost the ball) does not excuse giving the ball away for pretty much the rest of the game. Two out of Xisco, Owen and Martins if Owen is fit on Monday, please.

Fucking hell, how did we invite them into the game like that? Embarrassing second half. Still did well enough to get us three points, some confidence and some breathing space. We need to do a whole lot better with Aston Villa coming up though.

Barring Taylor inexplicably disappearing for the chance they should really have buried, I think they've done alright. I know what you mean though, just never feel solid. Chopping and changing all the time doesn't help like. Where the hell was he there like? I think he's been very good this half except for that though. Enrique looks great defending, but is not good enough on the ball, IMO. That might be good enough for me at the moment though, we need to not concede two goals a game for a while.

Hopefully we can get a third to allow us to give Xisco a chance.

Jonas is just ridiculously good. Every time he's on the ball he makes defenders look like they're Titus Bramble. Very nice to have Barton back too, he's ten times the player Butt is, strange that he seems to be holding while Guthrie is attacking though.

Think we'll keep a clean sheet today and win 2-0.

I'd have no problem going to the pub to watch a game, though tonight is exceptionally bad timing and to be honest, I do prefer to watch us at home, I find it much easier to focus 100% on the game. Also, I'd probably not go to Southside to watch us, I'd rather go to the pub where I work.

At least Butt won't concede a goal for us tonight.

Chelsea don't play a diamond though. They play with a 1 DM, 1 Cm, and 1 AM. In the Chelsea-formation (which is class if you've got the right players for it, think England could give a go), I'll agree with a DM, in a 4-4-2, I don't like them at all.

Clearly just wanted to show everyone he doesn't feel he wants to score all the goals himself.

Jonas has looked better on the left, and Duff will return to being his usual self, i.e doing nothing, so I'd play Geremi on the right and Jonas on the left. I'd also drop Shola for Xisco, but it's understandable that he will start after scoring two in two.

I would love for us to go for Dick Advocaat, currently the coach of Zenit. They've got five games left of their season and it looks like they might be knocked out of the Champions League without even going to the UEFA cup. Could be a perfect opportunity to try and get him in.
