I was giving him credit for finally putting them in there. Honestly expected to see the likes of Jenas and Beckham keeping their places instead. Jagielka has been quality whenever I've seen him this season, probably deserves a call up. Can't really say Capello should get any credit for finally including Agbonlahor and Young, they both should have been in the squad a long time ago.

I think Joe Kinnear is doing a good job baffling the players already. As things stand at the moment I wouldn't say no to him. Had he been a young progressive thinking manager, I'd be willing to take a chance on him. As it is, he's 53 and had been a relative unknown in world football prior to managing Chelsea. Also, if he hadn't been friends with Abramovic he would have most likely never ever managed in a major European country let alone England. But he did, and he did it well. Amazes me how he's been given absolute fuck all credit for what he did at Chelsea. Kinnear would NOT have reached the CL finals and climbed the league to finish second.

So you're happy with Kinnear getting another extension after the Chelsea game then? What Kinnear has on Grant is that he already knows the players. I'm all for replacing Kinnear at some stage (asap preferably), but not with someone like Grant!! Assuming that this is true, our options at the moment are to either extend Kinnears contract or appointing Grant. I know I'd much rather hire Champions League and Premier League runner up manager Avram Grant than stick with Concede Before Start Playing Joe Kinnear. And what does it help that Kinnear knows the players, if he constantly picks the wrong ones?
