I'd love to see Agbonglahor (Sp?) and Rooney up front with two out of Walcott, Young and Joe Cole on the wings. With either Gerrard or Lampard in CM, there should be plenty of goals from that front five.

Frustrating player, Geremi. Puts in a couple of decent crosses per game, but doesn't do much else. In an ideal world, we shouldn't have to play him, but we aren't spoiled for choice. When Jonas is back, we're going to have choose from either some decent delivers from Geremi or some flair and pace from N'Zogbia.

Or it's good to get Jonas and Beye back into the team. Thought Guthrie was immense in the second half, really like the look of him. We've really missed him in the last few games, tremendous fighting-spirit, good vision and good skill, just what you want in the middle of the pitch. I just hope Kinnear or whoever is charge drops Butt when Barton's back, we could do without someone who concedes a goal a game.

I just want this thing to be over and done with as soon as possible. We won't know anything about our new owners, there isn't really much point in speculating whether they'll be good or not, all we can do is hope that they'll appoint a good manager and give him the funds he needs.
