Craig David outside SJP? i know we are a circus but surely not. I've resigned to calling him that after stumbling along to a game a year or so ago (forgot which one) with 2 mates half-cut. He was there doing a piece to camera, to which one of my mates shouted behind poor David, in a Bo Selecta style voice, "Daaaaaaavid Craaaaig, on his North-east tour". Have kind of kept away from watching football all weekend.... what were they like at your place ? Not very good, but that's not what I'm basing it on. They remind me of our team when we finished 4th- getting a large slice of luck in that they nick a lot of their wins by 1 goal and are not actually as good as their position suggests. I think they will end up finishing about 7th and will need to invest again in the summer to maintain that kind of position. Up front in particular needs some serious cash. With all respect, they have a more talented squad than you had when you came 4th.
