Some of the players I've just heard about through friends, and if I am to believe what they say, these players are good, and will improve us. |maze| Are your friends all characters on football manager? football manager?I don't play that game needless to say, the list is extensive, and there wouldn't be anything to lose by scouting these players. Not for me, I believe Carrick has proven he is worth 18m, he did at a Spurs side who were on the verge of a Champions League place, he then had the challenge of going to a massive club and performing at the highest level, i think last season he performed very well. Bentley is undoubtedly a quality player, but I don't believe we can put an extremely high price tag on a player who's only just started to perform to the level at he should, that at a club which isn't very big and the expectations aren't the same as they would be here.

Absolutely and totally right - we don't have a divine right to win at SJP and as I KEEP saying, but many on here ignore because they can't see the wood for the trees, we are in a relegation battle which will ruin the club if we lose - we will not be safe until we have a min of 42 points. We're struggling but I'm not surprised, a team which has picked itself, Bolton knew the challenge ahead and have worked hard to stop us getting any supply to our forwards, I'd say Bolton edged that half, we needed half-time.

How can anyone say his best position is in the center? He has performed most consistently playing on the left wing, he's looked good going forward from left back which isn't surprising and has looked vulnerable defending, playing in the center, he has barely even played in the center for us, so how is that his best position? Based on what?
