Thing is, and I know this is jinxing it again. If we get out of Loftus Road with 3p, we'll play with no pressure whatsoever for about two months, pretty much only playing lesser teams that will be craving points - something which might help us to play good football and lay the ground for a very decent first half of the season. Of course this will never happen as Cabaye will break his leg tomorrow in a 50-50 with Barton while Coloccini simultaneously score four own goals.

My worst round so far. Will be slightly better if Rooney becomes my captain because of Dzeko, anyone know if Dzeko will be substituted? Taylor and Krul to play here still. Still definately losing top spot now though......

Even though Simpson is a great pro and seems like a very likeable guy, I hope that our ambition will see him fall down the pecking order in the coming years. He'll struggle more this season with Barton not looking out for him, and the ideal solution looking forward would be to bring in a left back and move Santon to the right. Tavernier seemingly coming through could also have an impact on the matter.

Want to see: Krul - Simpson, Coloccini, Taylor, Santon - Marveaux, Cabaye, Tioté, Jonas - Ba, Best We could do with Jonas tracking Barton if he plays on the right, although my guess is they'll play SWP out there which could be a decent task for Santon. Should be a good game for the neutral, both should expect something. Like someone said, every single time we're in for one of these "if we win our game in hand we could..." we end up being brought back down to earth. Win here and we've had a fantastic start to the season.

Their fans seem very prone to leaving before 90 mins. Couldn't believe my eyes when people left on 87 mins when they were only 0-1 down to us. Weird habit.

This. I'm convinced this is just a process. Unfortunately I don't think he'll be content with the shape of the club until 2015/2016. That's his plan. He's surely invested in the facilities, we have lots of players with sell-on-value - and the wage bill is getting smaller all the time. These things are of huge importance to potential buyers. If the club is debt free at that - it's a very attractive club to buy.

If Pardew walks we end up with Kinnear. So I'm happy for him to keep eating shit from Ashley and Llambias until they sell.

No doubt we'll get rid of Jonas & Coloccini next season. If Cabaye has a good year I can see him, Krul and Tioté go as well. This has to end.
