Subotic would be class for us, what I've seen of him, I thought I read he wanted to stay though?
He'll probably stay but he has been linked with various top clubs for so long that you feel it´s only a matter of time, was surprised he didn´t go last summer to be honest. In addition they have a very adequate replacement in Santana (who is a very underrated defender in my opinion). Dortmund have got great depth as shown last year when they had to do without Kagawa and Barrios for a crucial period of games in the title race. They´d survive without Subotic, Götze on the other hand is irreplaceable.
Schmelzer would be my ideal replacement for Enrique. We'd never get him in a million years, just saying.
Btw they've got a sensationally talented and spirited team. I'd be over the moon if I supported Dortmund. Götze's goal when they played Hamburg on Friday was superb.
Very hard to guess what we're going with, I'd like to see this though:
Krul - Simp, Coloccini, Taylor, Enrique - Tioté, Cabaye - Barton, Vuckic, Jonas - Ba
Best: New signings find their feet immediately, someone steps up as a leader in place of Nolan/Barton, we play decent football and HBA comes back into the team and stays fit. Finish between 8th and 12th.
Worst: Demba Ba breaks down, HBA is struggling with fitness and form. Tioté suspended all the time and Cabaye can't adapt. Barton and Nolans leadership is nowhere to be seen. We get sucked into a relegation battle and make no investment in January.
I can't imagine any other owner making such a mess of a transer window that was all there "for the taking". Especially considering the decent start we had to it.
It's like they're tearing everything down on purpose. It's not that hard to run a club properly and to keep players that care for the club reasonably happy.
