  1. Hopefully Erdinc go there and we splash our cash on someone like Sturridge instead. Highly unlikely, but can't prevent myself from coming up with any scenario that see us sign someone else than Erdinc. Completley unexcited by the prospect of signing him.
  2. Mentally scared from the years of poor decisions and the same boardroom schmucks still making decisions?
  3. Huge season for Vuckic. Really expect him to knock on that famous door come the end of the season. Voted for Ferguson, he has genuine talent and potential, could become a class left winger. I'm eager to see more of Remi Streete and Adam Campbell as well.
  4. I'd be more excited if we signed Gignac than if we signed Erdinc, for some reason.
  5. Haven't we had our share of Man Utd rejects? Smith, Butt, Simpson, Gillespie etc. It's no way forward, look at the mackems. Thought we knew better nowadays.
  6. Considering Chile for Copa America, 3rd favourites at 11.00x. Don't know how to translate that into your system.
  7. Try the opening day of the season against Bolton when Fat Sam arrived. He scored an absolute screamer. That was a cross imo.
  8. These Bangura lads aren't good enough, seen em' plenty of times over here. Don't want us buying players from Sweden anyway, they have to prove themselves somewhere else first. I've said it before - it's fucking League One over here.
  9. I think we'll get Barnetta pretty soon if we're really in for him. Then it will be a long and hard battle to get Matuidi, N'Zogbia, Erdinc and Sturridge (if they're the players we're actually in for).
  10. He'll hopefully be able to keep the core of their squad and establish a team spirit similar to the one we had here. Fewer players of genuine class this time around for him (they're likely to loose Dann, Johnson, Zigic, Bowyer). If Gardner stays he's got a player and leader in the making to build that side around. They need better strikers though, can see him going for Best and Ranger.
  11. Jonas is another one of those who seem commited to the cause. He always works his socks off and he likes being here. Him & José as a left wing partnership is probably the most solid part of our team.
  12. Best of luck to him, really hope he succeeds.
  13. Except he's from Denmark, the country with more pigs than human beings. Really shows in their behaviour (Bendtner, Poulsen, Agger). I know it doesn't go for all of you. Those players are thorough schmucks though.

  15. Got something fantastic going at Porto. Excellent choice from Chelsea, really hope he succeeds, loved watching Porto this season. He's only 33 though, could go down bad with some of the senior players at Chelsea.
  16. This is what I want us to do as well. We've spent nothing and still brought in some quality players. If we add a couple of shrewd signings - and they may be heavy investments with a bit of risk - we could have one hell of a season.
  17. Cauklin used to provide a lot more information, he's gone quiet. Still arguably the best journalist in the North East imo. Douglas seems to know what is going on most of the time, and his willingness to communicate with the supporters is a relief considering how the regime at the club are handling these matters.
  18. Douglas saying it's nothing to worry about atm.
  19. Agreed and I would eat my own bollocks if Nolan drops down to the championship with West Ham. Different situations though. We are in no rush whatsoever to force Coloccini out.
  20. This would hurt me the most. Fantastic player and the heart of our defence. If we let him go I will be seriously worried.
  21. I don't believe we want to sell Colo and Jonas for a second.
  22. Where is he supposed to play? Let's not go all Liverpoolish about signing players and not think about where to play them. For me, a midfield triangle with Cabaye-Tioté sitting behind Ben Arfa in a free role is good enough. Surely Matuidi would mean Ben Arfa moving to a wide role and Cabaye being pushed further up the pitch. I'd rather we spent this kind of money on a really good striker instead of getting Erdinc for £8-10m.
