Maestorovic would be a good player to have for about 2 seasons. Could really improve our backline. Great physical player, good in the air. Swedish international, first choice centre back with Mellberg at the moment. He is 32 years old but the guy peaked late and will surely have 4 good years left in him. Would be cheap atleast Agree on this. Majstorovic has become a very solid defender in recent years. Had some unbelievable games against Portugal in the WC Qualifiers.

We're lucky if he stays. If we're going to rely on these players for the years to come there is no better man to lead them.
-
I'd definately take Klasnic. Class finisher.
-
How did we get to this financially? Through the relegation? Recession? Two years ago we bid £16m for Luka Modric by this time.
-
If we're not signing anyone, we must make sure that we keep the few players that are able to compete on this level. New players, proven in the PL, will not come cheap. I'd sell Best, R. Taylor, Shola (not going to happen) and Smith. That could give us about £5m. Buy a striker for the money.

Just how many OGs has Richard Dunne scored now? Is it more than 10?
-
Can we please sign Steven Fletcher?

Zlatan to Juve is very strongly linked in Swedish media. Would be weird though, I think he deserves another season to settle in. If not he'd probably want to prove himself there anyway.
-
Completely pointless for Barcelona to sell him. They won't find replacements for that money anyway. And money isn't really an issue for them.
-
Not Berg, he's out of depth. Had a very good U21 EC last summer, but not at all what we need. Plus I'd guess his confidence is very low atm.
-
Wickham would be brilliant but ain't never gonna happen.
-
I remember a game vs West Ham where they scored 2 inside the first 15 mins or something and he was completely taken out by Harewood for one of the goals. Got subbed immediately for Edgar or Huntington because of "injury".

Hodgsons reputation in Sweden has always been excellent. Won the Swedish League several times, and changed Swedish football in his time at Malmö FF. The model that has been the recipe for our - recently pretty successful - national team is entirely based on his tactical approach from that time and especially the way his teams defended. So happy for Fulham, very likeable club.

Did anyone see that female Fulham fan on SSN just now? Felt bad for her husband or whatever he was... "How's it been supporting Fulham this season?" "WOOOOGGGUGHUHGULOS FULHAM BESTINTHEWORLD WWWHHOOOOUU"

I'd love to see a breakdown, but I reckon at least 40% of his goals have been headers, which is a phenomenal percentage. Blackpool (A) - Header Plymouth (H) - Shot Doncaster (H) - Shot Peterborough (H) - Header Cardiff (H) - Shot & Header Swansea (A) - Header Coventry (H) - Header Watford (A) - Header Boro (A) - Shot Scunthorpe (H) - Header & Shot Bristol City (A) - Shot Doncaster (A) - Shot Blackpool (H) - Header Plymouth (A) - Header Ipswich (H) - Header 10 headers, 7 shots. More than I thought. WBA in the Cup was 2 shots aswell, that's 10 headers and 9 shots.
-
Yeah but it's illegal in 9 countries and made with bits of real panther.
-
Surely Nicky Maynard has done better than Chopra this season? Otherwise that's a good team.
-
Gary Hooper gets another one for Scunthorpe, having a very good season..
-
Signed for Lyon last summer, think he's been quite average there...

Thing is, apart from van Buyten all of those players are pretty young. They could conceivably play together at the next Euros & the following World Cup if they get their act together. Read something in The Times recently where someone suggested they'll be one of the favourites for the 2014 WC. Maybe taking things a bit too far, but they've got some generation coming through. Add decent players like Verthongen, vanden Borre, Mirallas etc to that and they've got a very capable team. Just watched the Hamburg game, JP Guererro would be a good addition, maybe not a starter but a very good squad player with bags of potential. Marcus Berg has honestly failed to cut it this season, lots of problems with injuries though, but he needs to prove himself at a higher level than Groningen and the Swedish U21s.

Seol and Rosenior between Fulham and Reading if im not mistaken. It's much more common in Spain and Italy (Eto'o part of Zlatan deal one example).

Is that Steven Taylor on the bench to the right waving his shirt?
