How's it going for the players who left Newcastle?
AlanSkÃrare replied to LoveItIfWeBeatU's topic in Football
Jon Dahl Tomasson and Dietmar Hamann -
it's far from one of the worst leagues. very average though. 24th in Europe according to Uefa. We never have any team going anywhere in Europe and there isn't a single team that can keep ahold of any good players. Tobias Hysén is tearing every team apart..says a great deal.

The Swedish league is garbage. Success there really means nothing. That's what I said. He's not playing well dispite scoring goals, and add that to the fact that he's playing in Allsvenskan shows how he hasn't proved anything.

This will never happen. He's shit, and he's not playing well dispite his goalscoring in one of the worst leagues in Europe.

Doesn't Tim Henman support Newcastle? I'm sure I've seen him play a game in a Newcastle shirt. Also, is it true that Steven Pienaar and Darren Fletcher support Newcastle? A friend told me, but I think he got it from Football Manager...

How unexpected was that!? NICE! -
Getting better and better. Two great saves from Wright today. Did very well for the first chance when he held off the defender. Exciting!

Nolan is the perfect player for this league. -
He played for Sweden U16 and U17 and was definitely highly rated, can't remember who said it though. Find it & let me. My guess it would be selling club Porto were interested in him as well, not the best team around but its a nice compliment. No, he wasn't highly rated in Sweden, completely unheard of. He played at a very high level for his age, but I think they signed him less than a year before he moved to Newcastle. He turned good pretty late and very quick, but as far as I'm concerned he hasn't been the most impressive so far? Talking of Swedes, how's Ole Söderberg rated?

I was just looking through Youtube for some videos of this and came across about 15 different sets of supporters paying their tributes at games just after he passed. PSV's fans singing "Walking in a Robson wonderland" when playing VVV Venlo, Sunderland supporters at Celtic, Notts County fans etc. Incredible.

Ranger's impressive but he needs to get into goalscoring positions. Hasn't had a shot today, drifting on the flanks far too much... -

Ranger not making any runs deep. We lack options upfront when he has to drop deep all the time...
