I've been dreading this since January, it's absolutely the worst thing that could possibly happen.
-
He's a man that sees every minute of every NUFC campaign ffs It's absolutely blatant not biting the hand that feeds, I refuse to believe he's that clueless about football.
-
Lowes on 5 Live - "A lot of fans are saying Pardew is tactically naive, which I think is unfair" Now he's talking about David Moyes "If they survive by the skin of their teeth, he would at least deserve to start again next season"

QPR vs Newcastle Utd - 12/05/13 @ 3pm (No TV) - a win confirms safety

Last 5 league games with Simpson in the side. West Ham : 0-0 Fulham : 1-0 Man City : 0-4 Arsenal : 3-7 Man Utd : 3-4 Amazing what two games and a dozen games out can do for a reputation. Said it ages ago, people don't mind him when he doesn't play very much. -
Just popped in to say we're shit and it's his fault.
-
Ahahaha, I just caught up with the last two pages.

What's even the point in all this 'sky generation' stuff. Nothing I can do about when I was born and extremely difficult to attend games prior to conception. No point other than to emphasize the spoilt brat mentality which seems to have hold of many fans who go to the match these days and a few off this very message board. Crying like bairns and threatening not to renew because we've had a disappointing season and they don't like the manager. Pathetic. Hang on, this all started because I said I wouldn't renew as a form of protest towards Pardew's management. I suppose you think all forms of protest constitutes 'crying like bairns' and is pathetic do you? Are we really going down THAT road?
-
I never mentioned anyone not renewing for financial reasons. Other people brought the cost factor in to fit their agenda as they knew deep down I was right. Family and paying the bills always comes first. My point still stands and that was that if every supporter took a hissy fit like many on here are doing and stopped attending when we weren't playing well or because they didn't like the manager we wouldn't have a club to support. Thankfully the few cowards on here who want to stop going because things aren't great are vastly outnumbered by those who'll stand by the club during the thick (and many) thin times. We would, we'd have a club run by someone other than Ashley pretty quickly. Stop calling people cowards man, it just makes you look stupid.

I appreciate the sentiment but you can't really make a worthwhile analogy between a football club and....anything else imo. It's widely acknowledged as your birth right to support your team and a communities connection to its club is much more meaningful than that of a connection to a restaurant, bar, rock band or anything else you might happen to pay money for. All this means I totally accept why people reserve their right to keep financially supporting the club no matter what (although I suspect the motives aren't always as noble as that).

Super fan Not a super fan. Just an ordinary supporter that won't stop going to watch his team because he's not keen on the manager. Clearly an alien concept to yourself. 'not keen' The bloke is dragging us into the championship through his incompetence, I quite simply will not be party to it continuing any further and the only form of protest Ashley cares about is witholding cash. If you want to support NUFC becoming a shadow of it's former self just because you've got nothing else to do on a Saturday, that's your prerogative. I will thanks very much. Meanwhile you can come back out from under your rock when things pick up again. For what it's worth I agree with you about Pardew, but I support the club rather than one individual. I'll still be there long after he's gone. Twice you've said this now. 'When things pick up', 'come crawling back' to what exactly? The free flowing football we've been treated to over the past decade? All the cups we keep winning? The Champions league football we play? What are they coming back to exactly? We played some good football last season which saw the crowds rise and we've witness Champions League football which only fans from a handful of other English clubs can say. Of course, if we're not successful enough for you, you could always go and follow Man Utd or like. I've just made an effort to engage you in serious debate and then scrolled down and read this, sorry I bothered

I'll still be there long after he's gone. I'll stay under my rock until Pardew's gone, whether they pick up or not. I support the club as well, I guess we just have different views on what it involves. Fwiw your brand of support is what Ashley's model is built on, you know the model that's already seen us relegated and looks like doing it a second time? We'll all be here after Ashley's gone as well as Pardew, if Ashley can't see that Pardew's leading us to oblivion then I want him gone immediately, and giving him money contradicts that position. Look, I really don't want to criticise people for going to the match because that's not my intention at all, and I feel like my first post came across a bit heavy handed for which I apologise. However, there's issues here at a deeper level that won't ever be resolved unless people vote with their wallets, imo.

I'll happily write of £100 if he keeps his job, it's a fair price to pay to not have to watch his team.
-
I'm more likely to use mine if we get relegated and have a new manager than I am staying up and keeping the coward. My thoughts exactly, as long as Pardew's not there I will be.
-
This bloke, in the championship
-
I advocated it on the basis that we were safe, if he's leaving.
-
In the middle of the pitch no one ever, ever plays a pass forward and moves on for the return pass. We're shit, and it's his fault.

Particularly away from home. -
God knows why, our hands are shit.
-
We'll get a point and be relegated.
-
I cannot believe it, I can't believe he's still here and dragging us down with him, it's ludicrous.
-
Both of our relegation rivals go away from home and win, we barely create anything. I fucking hate you Pardew, I hate you.
