If I was running the metro's after they'd done that I'd just cancel the service this year and make the bell ends walk here.

That line of thinking extends to absolutely everything they do and every decision the club make, for most of their fans. Giving Wes Brown a massive contract, hiring a fascist as manager are just two tremendous decisions to mention. They don't do grey area or subtlety, mags bad, sunlun good. Stupid fucking cunts.

I still think he'll turn out to be the best of the January buys. Sissoko had the initial impact and Debuchy's the most consistent right now imo.

That was me, sorry, just find it small time as fuck doing the small "s" thing. I'll put it back though as I told myself I would do if anyone mentioned it It's tradition! -
Sorry if these have been mentioned. He loves that 70 minute mark. Ahh ok nice one, let's 'play our way into' it Alan. They only need one goal for fucks sake, they'll have it before we've played our way in and there'll be no way back. If we score first I'd fancy us to go through, that should be the priority.
-
Fair enough, he is the single exception to the rule though. Alan Hansen isn't too bad but the bias, the never ending fucking bias

How about simply 'we've got the type of players to play a passing/moving game and we don't do it'. Is that fair? Not at a very high pace we haven't... Last time we had players for that style was under SBR... We've very little creativity in the team without a fit HBA... Cabaye, Marveuax and Anita can all do it. You're talking nonsense. Wayne Routledge can do it too You'll have to elaborate lad, why are you expressing anguish? Apologies, I took your post completely the wrong way.

Quotes please edit - there probably are some actually -
Yeah, it's really positive for the future I think. After all this time we might actually become a club with quality on the bench.

Yohan Cabaye (now sporting coordinator at Paris Saint-Germain)

Yeah, that's what I was trying hint at above. As long as he's not getting booked a lot I would say he's getting the balance about right. Obviously Tiote gets booked for a lot of things that are softer than Cabaye does, guess he just looks more like a hard bastard. I think it's to do with force and speed. Tiote can really move over 2/3 yards so he's hits people harder and more often than not they hit the deck. Cabaye's are probably just as dangerous but don't look as bad as he's more lightweight/not moving as fast. -
That's why pundits should never, ever be ex players. It's such a small group of professionals that ultimately they'll be slagging off their mates. At least they should mix it up with a few journalists or just people who know football and speak well.

I've seen a lot of criticism on here recently of the dirty side of his game, I quite like it to be honest as long as it's not causing a lot of yellows, which it isn't at the minute. I want someone in there constantly niggling at the opposition and I find things like 'not fit to be captain' to be laughable to be honest. Every successful team has at least one right little cunt in it, why shouldn't we? Even better that we don't have to sacrifice actual ball playing ability to have him in there. For all Tiote's been poor this season it must be a right pain in the arse to play against those two, I think that's a positive for us. -
I hope he does this too. I just don't find it likely that he'll change his view on how the game should be played to give you the best chance of results with the players we've got. Hopefully the 8 year deal will make him feel more secure, a fit and capable defence on the pitch and he'll feel more able to make possession, movement and creating chances our thing. I'd be delighted if we brought in an offensive coach in the summer. When I watch us I'm almost always thinking of his 'when he's got the ball, that's his world' comments about HBA. Although its fair to say HBA is a one off it looks to me like he has that attitude with the rest of the team as well, we're so static when in possession.
-
I think it's a massive step up in power from Santon/Simpson to Haidara/Debuchy. Although to be fair I also don't think I've seen enough of Haidara to say he should get the nod. I agree with the 5 players picking themselves. I'd be happy to upgrade Tiote and let Anita/Marveuax push the first team for competition.

Agree with above, would like to see him further forward. The lofted balls over the defence are just tiresome. -
Me too, I really like his style of play and I hate the cliche about the physical nature of the English game, but I fear there is a bit of truth to it. He can't complete against quite a lot of CMs in the league. Support from Cabaye and Sissoko might mitigate that a bit, but it's still a concern. Cabaye, as agressive as he is only compounds that problem at times. I honestly don't think (with everyone fit) there's any additional room for players lacking physical presence. A hell of a lot of our 'good' players who we all want on the field often get bullied off the ball and don't compete for set pieces. Was thinking about this yesterday at the match, Haidara should help?
-
I'd like to see him as a link between a DM and AM.
-
Feels so good to come out of the match saying Jonas had a good game, he's so lovely it's really hard to criticise him.
-
M'Bengue? Yeah he was pictured there. Surprised there's not been more talk of it tbh.

They're dodgy at the back like, big performances from Saylor, Mapou and Cisse and we can do it. -
Can't see it being discussed anywhere else so forgive me....was that other lad at the match after all?
