In fairness, Souness would have beaten Pardew easily if he had gotten 132 games ... how the fuck has that man managed us for nearly 4 seasons now?
-
Must be leading the charts on most excuses used in a season.
-
Currently leads the charts on linesmen shoved, too.
-
Ah, they've confirmed it I see. Marseille sound like they're in worse shape than us, if that was at all possible
-
I can't imagine us not being in a relegation battle next season if Pardew stays on, that alone should be reason enough for the fat one to consider a change. The alternative is that he backs Pardew up with unfashionable and expensive cloggers who have very little resale value, which will probably drag us into a relegation battle anyway, or consider the cheaper alternative that is to hire a manager capable of getting more out of our current setup.
-
So that leaves us with Carlos Bielsa and Laudrup? Let's focus on getting Pardew out of the job first (fucking twitter).
-
Reverse that triangle and have Marveaux at the tip of it, with Sissoko/Sammy/Gouff on the left forward position.

Is that right? So what were his successful achievements as the Everton manager? Ah howay man, wait for Ronaldo to log on again. Everton went about 5 transfer windows without spending any money whatsoever and he still had them top-6. And he actually appeared to have some involvement in signing the players and developing them. Players like Cahill, Arteta, Piennar, Baines, Fellaini etc. It's incredible how much people have forgotten in less than 12 months, aye Moyes didn't seem the natural choice for Man Utd at the time but most felt he was deserving of a shot at it, due to the excellent job he'd done at Everton. The only reason I wouldn't necessarily want Moyes here is Hatem Ben Arfa, and Neil's accounts on how Moyes isn't the biggest fan of flair. But since that ship has most likely sailed already, why the hell not. Just fucking stop. Now I'm adamant that I wouldn't want Moyes here, because Dinho Lad wants him.

I can't see him ever fulfilling his real potential. That isn't taking away any blame from Pardew who royally fucked up but HBA seems to have been self destructive even from him youth days. Something not right in that otherwise brilliant head of his. Ben Arfa is flawed, I don't think many would argue on that score. Forget tracking back, even going forward he has a tendency to hog the ball and that would see most top clubs steer clear. But we aren't a top club and some of the players starting ahead of him in a team which struggles to score goals aren't fit to be on the same pitch. That's the issue. The sad thing is, you can see that he's trying to fit in within Pardew's anti-football framework, and is trying to make things work out with a club for the first time in his life. This has been nothing but a complete waste of an opportunity for both sides.

Which sounds very much like us right now. If we somehow get our hands on him, I hope he still has the hunger to do it all over again.

Nope. 9-0 is the most. "Records are meant to be broken" - Alan Pardew.
-
After the two years of torment he's inflicted on us, I... would like to see him harmed. Chinese water torture would be a good start.
-
I think Marveaux is even better in that regard, but he's frozen out too.
-
Head says 3-0. Heart says 7-0.

Fuck the odd numbered leagues.

Shola has a season left in him.... in the championship. Maybe league 2.

Why play with a holding midfielder? It's pointless in international football in 2014. Gerrard's the best option to sit deep and concentrate on playing the better pass. Since when did Alonso, Mascherano and Busquets become obsolete in international football? England doesn't have too many options in that particular position, I'll give you that, but I kind of like Huddlestone >_>

What's nationality got to do with it. Gouffran isn't foreign and he defends Pardew to the hilt. The players who do it are the ones who know they're too shit to get a game at any other PL club. Has he? He hasn't looked like he even wants to be out there, in the last few games. Blob Jelliot and his lot though, ugh.

Would be nice if our English players weren't a bunch of asslicking arseholes.
-
Hell, there are at least several freebies I'd rather have than Tony fucking Pullis. Di Matteo even, easily.

The Official Alan Pardew Excuses Thread

Gagged on Mike's cum and couldn't give his team talk. -
Illogical.

None of us have followed Stoke or Crystal Palace long enough to know that. Why the fuck are we shelling out 3 mil for a manager who is barely better than absolute shite when freebies like Laudrup are available?
