Yep because he needed to build a squad and quickly. He's done that, and now needs to add some finishing touches, Owen being that. If you keep him fit you'd be right amongst the big boys for the rest of the season and seasons to follow, £15m would seem like a bargain. Lot of IFS though. I would take Owen. Wouldn't be my first choice but he's class. But never for £15m. I doubt Sven would either. He's on record saying he went abroad cos English players are overpriced, and he doubts very much if the media have the slightest idea who he's going to move for.
