I don't even know what benefit we'd get out of that outside of our game with them which isn't for another three months?

Magedia Love this response though: 90 minutes minimum in play. that match length would be giving baseball a run for its money ffs. EDIT: Hans there way before me

GO ON EDDIE KICK IS ARSE.

That pass.

Pope's giving me a foot fetish, man.

Truly made by Willock not giving two fucks while Big Joe busts a gut to reach it all for nothing.

Hold on everyone ref needs to work out who to yellow card.
-
Saka's being a little prick too tonight.
-
That's such a depressing pair of subs. I know we've no choice but that doesn't soften the blow.
-
Not the first time tonight either, is it? Or am I getting mixed up with someone else?

Fair play to their fans. Their chants are as shit as most of ours but a rare home crowd that seems to have drowned our guys out.

Andy Madley.

Even aside from how dickish it is, I still feel we don't have nearly enough gravitas yet and it just gets most refs backs up. However this ref I'd happily watch get chinned.
-
What a fucking joke of a card.
-
Well done, ref. Proper made your bed here you dipshit.

For the wrestling dweebs among us, was that Kenny Omega's entrance tune being played before kick off?

I forgot what it was like to be the shit team in a match and I don't like it.

Wasn't expecting all that confetti. I really like Brighton and hope they can keep pushing on in the PL.

Most likely for being a Champ Manager legend. Mad how angry some people are with Dubs in here. A good servant who I'd guess figured there'd be more Cup chances at Man U than here. He probably got told the right things by them re those Cup chances too, whereas it was plain as day Pope would be slotting straight in. Just went and looked at his IG posts and they're pretty bog standard in the circumstances. He clearly figured that was it for him at the club and let's be fair, we all did. Purely from a practical perspective, I'm not too enamoured with him being No 2. It sounds like most of his appearances weren't too convincing for Man U and he always needed to work back up to his best after the evermore frequent injuries so I could picture some shaky appearances if we have to rely on him at any point. Granted he'll still be a step up on Darlow, and the only reason I'd be happier with Karius is that he's an unknown quantity which isn't much of an argument.

Be lucky to stay top ten tbh. The ride is over. The dream is dead. Let's pack it up and go home.

Fair play for branching out tbf.

Not that I have any belief Leicester were going to get any success there but could you imagine the ref so eagerly blowing for full time dead on the 4 minutes of injury time if the roles were reversed and Liverpool were attacking that high up? I sure as hell can't.

I'm sure as hell not that football finance expert but I think this is pretty much the most it has been explained for the layman; that Chelsea's debt in the main were loans from Abramovich which were all wiped as part of the purchase. Although the more I think about it, the less I understand exactly how that helped Chelsea's subsequent spending power, as FFP is based on income generated v spend so how wiping debt suddenly means they didn't spend that prior money is beyond me.

I really hope this pulls Chelsea back in the shit in a few years when they realise they blew their wad in the first season of their entirely undeserved 'clean slate'. What's more likely is Uefa help them sweep it under the carpet again. Maybe a bribe fine to really teach them a lesson.
