But for the sake of £3m in Ashley's pocket, he was always a solid hand for us, nothing special but seemed to have a knack of coming in to the starting XI or on as a sub and nabbing a goal here and there. Without looking I'd imagine his goals to minutes ratio wasn't bad at all. Had a real soft spot for him.
