  1. I hate the way some keepers come so far off their line now for penalty's That's why reina is good at saving them. He takes about 3 steps forward to narrow the angle down.

I think you're on about Victor Moses. John Bostock is that one that Barca, Arsenal, Chelsea etc are after. Ever Banega is class btw. Seen him quite a bit for Boca.
  3. 3 defensive midfielders? Why exactly?
  4. What a crap game this has been.
  5. when it came to cheating it seemed like they were following the examples of arteta (first diver), neville (2nd diver, oh how funny it was to see him swan dive and try to reach for gallas' leg and miss it completely the cheating cowardly b******) and yakubu (3rd) all dived before arsenal started their petulant BS. don't get mad because not only could they cheat as good as you, but they could also score more than you. I agree the ones you picked out were dives, which I don't like to see from my team. I don't know what the hell Neville was doing and I was disappointed with Yakubu because he should have gone for goal instead of trying to win a penalty, it was a good opportunity. However, none of it was before Arsenal started their dirty play. They were like that from the first whistle. Bolton have a bad reputation and get loads of stick but we've had both teams at Goodison in the past week and the behaviour of the Arsenal players was far worse in every department- diving, play acting, dangerous tackles, intimidating the referee....
  6. Flamini goaded the Gwladys St for a few mins at the end of the match all from the safety of the pitch about 25 yards away from the fans with a line of stewards and police in front of him. You can bet your life that he wouldn't try that if there was any chance of a fan getting to him. I couldn't believe Arsenal's behaviour tonight. Total disgrace during and after the match. madras- Almunia had a plastic bottle lobbed at him when he started celebrating towards the Gwladys and taking the piss. He was strangely quiet afterwards....
  7. Did they show Almunia getting hit with the bottles?
  8. and Fabregas... I've already said on here before how I don't like him but now it's beyond that. I hate the cheating little fucker with a vengeance!
  9. I can't believe we lost. Better team for about 75mins and we lose 4-1?!!
  10. Chimbonda has money problems? What the hell does he do with his £30k a week?
  11. I thought he did well for Portsmouth and I seem to remember him playing quite a bit for Zaragoza last season when they finished in a UEFA place. Not sure what's gone wrong this season. Well worth a punt for most Premiership teams imo.
  12. No, I think it's the Fergie that won the European Cup and the Cup Winners Cup without any foreigner holding his hand. Honestly mate, you talk crap sometimes.
  13. Was there a press agenda against Man City as well then? Or is it just because Joey Barton is a bit of an idiot?
  14. He made a brilliant point blank save from Cahill and a couple of other decent stops then lets in one of the softest goals you'll see this season.
  15. Hands up, who got an Aston Villa stats book for Christmas?
  16. It's definitely number 2. No contest. I fucking despise Lee Hendrie with a passion.
  17. When don't they ever get lucky? It brings them a bit of success in cup competitions but you can't win a league title by luck.
  18. We've already got first option on an agreed deal. If we want him, which I'm sure we do, then he's ours. You a fan? He seems to have forced his way in to be a regular starter now. Had him in my fantasy team at the start of the season and that tosser Moyes wouldn't play him. Of course, as soon as I cut my losses, he breaks it. f****** conspiracy. He had a slow start but has come on leaps and bounds. That stupid pen at Old Trafford aside, he's probably been our best attacking player for the past month or so. moyes has a knack of finding good young players on loan with a view to buy - Yobo, Arteta, Fernandes and now Pienaar, tho he's a little older than they were. would love any of those at newcastle. We had Matteo Ferrari on loan as well who looked class everytime he played but never got enough of a chance. Then he bought Lescott instead in the summer so it worked out for the best I suppose. Still, I'm astonished any Premiership manager looking for a centre half hasn't been in for Ferrari. I reckon he'd do wonders for yourselves and Villa probably could have got him for about the same price as Zat bloody Knight!
  19. Bottom line is, you couldn't buy the quality we got on the right hand side from Solano and Dyer for £12.5m Arteta £3m Elano £6m Bentley £3m Lennon £1m Muntari £6m There are bargains out there if your scouts are any good or the manager is willing to take a gamble on an unknown quantity rather than buy Geremi and Smith primarily because they have a load of Prem experience and are "good pros". I haven't seen Allardyce take any gambles like he used to at Bolton with the likes of Okocha, aging stars like Djorkaeff and Hierro or people who had lost their way like Diouf and Davies. Maybe it's because of the higher pressure and increased media attention at Newcastle.
  20. I've always thought that. Horrible team to play against. Why Bolton had such a bad reputation but Reading are seen as plucky, honest grafters I can't understand.

  22. Is he the centre back who had a good game against Spurs in the UEFA Cup last year? I remember thinking he stood out
