Worse. Likely to join Leicester on a permanent basis sometime. Why did you buy him? because Everton had a bid accepted for him is the simple answer.
-
Fucking farcical. They showed virtually every single attack by Spurs and left out at least 4/5 clear chances we wasted. It was a great game tonight though and we deserved to win. Fully agree with you lads that your 5-0 should have been high in the order but for neutrals I can't imagine there was a more entertaining match tonight than ours. Really open, good football and loads of goalmouth action.

seen a couple of dale jennings' goals on on the football league show in past weeks - reminds me of Owen when he first broke through. at a lower level obviously but one to keep an eye on. I thought Jennings was a winger rather than a striker?

tbf to Pardew, most people in Wigan don't read full stop. Nevermind newspapers.
-
Doubt we'd sell him for that. Teams like Wolves and West Sham would be willing to pay more and i still have a feeling teams like Villa and Everton would want him. I strongly suspect we would only take him on loan. Even in the unlikely event we could afford to buy him.

I hope they do get O'Neill, the rich mans Allardyce.
-
Nope. When I've seen him start in pre-season & the cup he has tended to drift in and out of games admittedly so I wouldn't start him in the Prem. However, he should be getting decent minutes as a sub. Pace, big physique and most importantly a cracking delivery on him.
-
Bendtner is really good now. Developed a lot over the last two seasons. I'd love him at Everton, think he'll do well with regular football wherever he goes. Don't think Wenger will want to lose him though which says it all.
-
Baines has to be in it.

Chelsea look shite.

Saha has been worse than Beckford
-
Nope. We've actually been linked far more to Taylor. On and off for about 2yrs now (and as recently as the other week). Today is the first I've known us to be linked with Wheater. Like I said, I haven't seen him play in the Championship but I was impressed with him when Boro were in the Prem. Around that time he got an England call up iirc.
-
Yet Wheater can't handle the likes of Crystal Palace, Doncaster and Scuntorpe. No idea how he's playing this season in the Championship but I've seen him play very well in the Prem in the past. Can't say the same for Taylor who always looks a liability to me, especially at centre half.
-
Konchesky, Poulsen, Upson, Dunne, Barrera, Boa Morte, Saha, Boselli, Evans, Perch, Bebe. Can't be bothered naming Blackpool & Wolves fringe players.
-
I'd rather have Wheater than Taylor any day. Taylor is a clown.
-
Aye - funny s***, man. Can you imagine if he had became England manager, the out lash would have been class. Is that like an outcry mixed with a backlash?

The northern Irish bird on SSN pronounces Sunderland as Sun-Derr-Land. So annoying.
-
This comes after a series of regular outbreaks of him talking about Liverpool, but to suggest it's somehow more acceptable to play so wretchedly and lose 3-0 because it is Liverpool is absolutely bang out of order. I would feel sorry for you but I'm still angry that Villa have forced me to endure the deluded ramblings of that odious twat every time I turn SSN on. It's like being in a horrible timewarp to about 8 years ago. Once was enough.
-
Crazy sacking. Struggle to see that you could attract anyone better than Hughton that's also more experienced. Especially since they have to work with Ashley.
-
Played well today and arguably deserved to win. Beckford deserves a start against Wigan next week cause Saha was a joke yet again. Petr Cech makes me sick btw. Go and play basketball if you don't like contact sports, faggot.
-
To be fair they did accidentally mix him up with Lee Carsley and signed the wrong player. It would've been bloody worse if Real Madrid signed Lee Carsley Glamour-wise yes... but not really, cause he would have actually broke up the play for Madrid instead of Gravesen running round like a headless chicken, out of position
-
Gravesen went to Celtic after Madrid & flopped. Came back here on loan, hardly played and looked a shadow of his old self. Retired that summer. I think he's still got an apartment in Liverpool.
-
The lafalution in full force. How those gobshites over the park didn't see through him is beyond me.
