Exactly Everton are in desperate need of a striker who can, erm..... erm.... erm..... use hair staighteners? Everton will gain many gay fans if they sign Smith and as they say, gay people have loads of money. Sign him up Moyesy, it makes sense. The pink pound eh? We can get Kenwright to put on some half time musicals

Looking forward to seeing how Kompany gets on today. Good move playing him in midfield imo.

Everyone going mental about us signing SWP based on nothing more than this: http://cfcuk.net/story.php?id=101051 I'll believe it when I see it
-
I'm delighted to be proved wrong, trust me.
-
We've got them this season, apparently it's to do with the electronic advertising boards
-
What a rubbish start. No excuse for them to lose twice on the bounce to very average teams. I'm not that bothered by Spurs but it does make me laugh the way every single year the papers make them out to be the second coming and every year it just doesn't happen.

Bianchi has signed for Torino

Wasted your penny there. Not feeling confident? Nope. We can hardly put a team out anyway with injuries and no new players. Then I read this: http://www.mailonsunday.co.uk/sport/football/article-1048379/Don-8217-t-look-warns-Everton-manager-Moyes-transfer-search-continues.html?ITO=1490

You'd think Smith would ask for a transfer. That's why he left Man U to come to us, to get regular games. If Everton want him surely he'd rather go there to play than sit on our bench? He wouldn't play here either when everyone is fit, even though our squad is tiny. The last rumour I heard on this was that Moyes wasn't happy with Smith's attitude and lack of willingness to drop his wage for a move to go through.
-
You'd think somebody from Everton, Newcastle or Spurs would have asked the cunt whether he actually fancied playing for them before all these different deals were set up over the last year. Farce.
-
I can't believe a 3rd successive England manager is still trying to put Gerrard & Lampard in the same team
-
pmsl at Silvestre to Arsenal Arsenal's defensive cover is an absolute joke. The likes of him & Senderos will clock up a fair amount of games this year and the pair of them are total shit. How can you expect to challenge for the title when your second choice defenders wouldn't get a look in at clubs like Boro? Farcical situation.
-
He's a total gobshite. Criticising our fans for booing Moyes- they weren't directed at him you idiot. Anyone with half a brain could have worked that one out.
-
Quite a lot of teams have this now, there's two companies that basically do the same thing- Seat Exchange and viagogo. We're with the latter but I've never used it.
-
Surprised me there, really good result.
-
Pisser of a fixture to start the season with. I'm worried about Blackburn at home, I'd be a nervous wreck if it was Man Utd away.
-
Baxter will be a top player imo. Never heard of Nathan Eccleston from Liverpool. None of their fans I know have mentioned him, nevermind think he's a big prospect. It's the foreign kids they've bought that they're talking about.
-
Don't know. I'm told he was at the training ground. The Mirror said an agent had misled the club or something. Moyes' latest interview also has something about "agents letting us down" as one of the reasons we haven't signed anyone.
-
Imagine the carnage on here had we not signed anyone at this point. There is carnage on our forums. I think if Blackburn win tomorrow Bill Kenwright will be strung up from the main stand and Paul Ince will be beaten to death with his own shoes in the middle of a smug post-match interview.
-
Diop is average. He's always been average. The only reason anyone even knows his name is because he scored that goal against Man Utd and that total blert off Fanzone started screaming about "the Wardrobe"
-
Very strange transfer. At that price I'd have defo taken him here as a quality squad player to have. Surprised you sold him and even more surprised that nobody better than Stoke moved in
-
I was thinking more of a "back me or sack me" scenario

Never heard of a publicity stunt? City ARE f***ed, it's obvious that this insufficient Santa Cruz bid was just to distract the fans from what is really going on and make them think everything is ok because they're bidding for big names. How are they f***ed? The only thing that has happened is their owner has lost money he was never putting into the club anyway. They stopped a transfer going through last week that would have raised 8.5m, you dont do that if youre financially f***ed. I take it you missed the story where he had to borrow £2m from the former chairman just to pay the wage bill? re: the whole Corluka & Steven Ireland fiasco, the players were being sold behind the managers back to raise funds until he found out and threatened to walk. It would cost them more than the Corluka money just to pay up the contracts of Hughes and his new team and bring in another manager. Not to mention getting the fans up in arms.
