It's almost actually too ridiculous to be untrue.

Nee chance "the hoss" would've got that for us in this team either mind. Never seen a striker more unsuited to the Premier League.
-
Can't stand this bloke. Frequently screams on at other players while being consistently one of our worst performers for years now, he's a complete tosser.

That Joelinton header off the bar was not a good chance It was 2 inches from being a goal man. How’s a good cross and good header not a good chance? It doesn't matter if it hits the bar. If someone hits the bar from a strike from 35 yards it doesn't make it a good chance. I don't think you know how expected goals works I know exactly how it works which is why I don’t agree with using the way some do. Liverpool would be 2nd under xG man. Well the way you're talking about that header it doesn't sound like you know how it works. The result has no impact on the xG of the chance. Kante also had a one on one in that game against Dubs which was probably a better chance than any of our chances. Willian had a decent chance inside the box off his left. Abraham had a chance from about 6 yards out which Dubs saved Liverpool have been lucky in many games this season but of course they are deservedly winning the league. Liverpool are very good at winning games where they are slightly the better team or even games. How many times in the league have Liverpool won without playing that great this season? Loads Aye but they won those games, regardless of how they played, which is contradictory to your point

I doubt anyone's going to use these statistics as a stick to beat Klopp with, despite Liverpool being even further away from their xPTS than us. As you say, it's a guide, and using it as the driving force of an argument makes your argument a lot weaker IMO. Well, I've also watched too many games and we don't really pass the eye-test either. Which is a much more valid argument.

Nah, you might be cornered into spending money if you do it that way.

I can safely say I'd become absolutely morally bankrupt if I thought we had a shot at winning things like
-
Yet from his employer I know which one of the two is more likely to be correct on this one though, and it isn't his employer...
-
To be honest, I'm sure there is interest in buying the club - I don't buy into the idea that it's all a work of fiction written by Bishop. It's all irrelevant though as Ashley clearly isn't wanting to sell.
-
I'm not sure about him being our best striker like... He's our most likely striker to be fit, that's about as high praise as I can give him.

what the fuck

Getting 2m for him now would be a good deal. Man, this is unfortunate. You folks are really prepared to just throw this guy away now. I hear you Kaka, but he has been shocking - regardless of off-field circumstances. I know, but the majority of our players have been, and so it makes no sense to turn on individuals like people are now doing. The whole team does not function and hasn't at any point this season. I don't understand why because we have scraped some results people pretend otherwise. Absolutely nailed it. How fans cannot see this garbage from Bruce is beyond me. The reality is, most fans don't care about or look at the big picture. They care about a 1-0 win against Chelsea which they can gloat about at work during inane canteen banter with the resident mackems. They care about the points on the board, and not how they were gained or how false a story they tell. The only time the majority of our fans will be converted is when those results dry up and we slip down the table - then they'll pretend they were always anti-Bruce and saw it coming a mile off. Most football fans are fickle fuckwits who only care about the minute-to-minute bragging rights that support whichever narrative they think makes them look most like a Supafan at that particular moment in time... Trying to change their viewpoint is just a waste of time.

Aye, we have a midfield that struggled to boss games in the Championship.
-
Never heard of him and don't know anything about him. Name makes him sounds like a good player though.
-
a couple of hairy moments aside, I thought Chelsea were pretty poor for all the ball they had.
-
Hard not to enjoy a win against this lot like, no matter how turgid we were to watch. For all Chelsea's possession, Dubravka didn't really have that much to do mind; might've been a smash and grab, but I never felt like Chelsea were going to score either.

Most unnecessary use of goal line technology I've ever seen there.
-
Urgh, not 3-5-2 again.
-
Probably worth recording the IP address - and starting a sweep on his next user name I approved his account deletion this morning with the expectation that he'd probably start a new account like, which he's free to do as he hasn't actually broken any rules etc. Guessing he wants a fresh start and that might be for the best for him and the forum itself with the atmosphere of late.

Fucking hell fitness levels are shambolic.

The patter on here is absolutely lifting at the minute like lads, from both sides of the coin. We're getting very close to just permanently binning off people who constantly bicker or incite arguments, one or two have already gone that way in recent months and more will follow if it continues like this, it's grim to read and even grimmer knowing that Mike Ashley would laugh his tits off at it all if he could be arsed to read it. I've posted on this forum or its previous iterations since shortly after the turn of the millennium and this is right up there with the worst it's ever been, the fanbase has been well and truly divided and conquered but that doesn't mean there can't be some semblance of maturity in the discussions; are the lot of you fifteen years old or can you actually have a civil debate while disagreeing with each other..? We've gone through mass-bannings in the past to sort things out and, while it's a tedious and frustrating route to go down, it'll happen again if that's what it takes to sort this place out. I'm reopening this, I've deleted most of the shite from the last few pages, if I've missed anything don't bother quoting it to start another argument if you want to keep posting on here

Class, good opportunity for me to hit my monthly moderating quota that.

He'll never beat his man, but Ritchie can do this. That must be the most inaccurate statement I've ever seen. Ritchie has a few sterling qualities, but beating a man is never one of them. That's what he said Ritchie can beat a man? Is he talking about with his fists? Godzilla was saying Ritchie will never beat his man, but can cross from deep. I didn't even mention him tbf, I was on about the WHOLE team's standard of crossing into the box, this and just about every other game - SHIT Sorry, it was Stottie - not you.
