Sorry, I removed the other thread to keep it off the football forum (considering it was a non-football topic). I didn't realise I needed to explain myself on that one, since I wasn't aware that there was any kind of debate over the rule change (apart from a few comments from Gemmill, which are to be expected anyway) - most people seemed to be fine with it from what I could see, so there was no reason to keep the thread going. If you have any concerns regarding the rule, either start a thread in General Chat or PM me. Simple.

For those who still may not be sure, this change only affects those who've received an e-mail from us within the last hour or so.

I think this is a decent idea tbh, as long as action IS taken on people who deliberately spam the forum to boost their post count. Someone make me an admin again btw. I don't like being kept in the dark over changes

I've heard whispers from sources within the admin room that thread moderation may be returning very, VERY soon; along with General Football and Transfer Talk forums. There's also going to be a purge of any users who either aren't considered to be contributive enough or are considered to be too disruptive, and there will almost certainly be random deletions on all members who have made less than 500 posts since January 07 (due to server load issues). And when I say soon I mean, maybe next week some time... Possibly Tuesday, if I was to just pick any old day at random...

To be honest, I don't think we're a better side without Parker. That's not to say I rate Parker - I don't... But to be fair to the lad, Butt and Emre are just as limited in what they actually provide to the team. Especially in an attacking sense.

I don't think you can lump the blame on one party more than the other. It's true that the players, as professionals, should not need motivating. And it is also true that once they lack that motivation (or drive) it is Roeder's job, as a manager, to respond appropriately and re-motivate them. Neither the players nor the manager are doing their job to a high enough standard, and that's why we're almost always absolutely frigging cacktastic to watch.
