If we sold every player who had been poor in those games we wouldn't be able to fulfil our remaining fixtures. Routledge hasn't looked anything like a top flight winger all season.

Had a spelk down the jap. Top that Can't.

Any tear in your thigh is fucking awful. You can think it's perfectly fine walking around - even running - but then as soon as you go to kick the ball it's excruciating. Had it happen to myself when I was younger and I couldn't play for about 5/6 weeks, and even when it has recovered and you go to shoot you still have a nagging doubt in your mind that it's going to tear again for a little while afterwards. Probably the most unpleasant injury I've had tbh.

. What a bunch of cunts we are.

simpson on twitter said he was How dignified was he, on a scale of 1-10?
-
Well, no matter how consistently weak their performances, or how non-existent their footballing ability, I genuinely find it utterly distasteful to celebrate the injury of any of our own players... Apart from Alan Smith. Fucking fantastic news tbh, it's like a new signing.
-
Could be a blessing for them, Bent leaving. They're very one-dimensional and overly dependent on him when he plays - could be a good deal if they reinvest the money wisely.
-
I love the bloke, but in a way, I'm glad he's gone just so I don't have to hear the word "dignified" as often.
-
Does he fuck. Taylor is better physically, but Williamson is "clearly" streets ahead when it comes to general positional-sense and reading of the game. Taylor is borderline Championship-standard in both of those aspects at times, and they are arguably the most important elements of a central defender's game.

Second one looks about right to me.

Bit of a one off. Generally, you won't find many wingers that will get the better of him. If he has any short comings, they tend to be of his own making - i.e over-doing it in dangerous areas.
-
The only reason I could think of bringing him on would have been if we were trying to hold onto a lead, even then it would have been questionable considering we finished with 10 men against West Ham. You may be missing my point, I'm not arguing that it was a regretable decision to bring him on, and had I been in Pardew's shoes I wouldn't have made that change. So on that we agree. My point is that there are quite a few who said nowt as he came on, some who even cheered his introduction but are now criticising that decision. Like I said wisdom in hindsight.......... A lot of people in the match thread criticised the decision before it happened and as and when it was happening. Was blatantly a disaster waiting to happen.

FA reject unfair dismissal appeal from NUFC for Cheik Tiote
Andy replied to Crumpy Gunt's topic in Football
I will crawl down my own jap if that happens Going to be awkward to provide proof of that... -
It would be tremendously unprofessional, but entirely possible at the same time.

The passing out of defence was made to look significantly worse due to the fact that our midfielders didn't drop deep and show for the ball once.
-
Colocini's performance reminded me of Boumsong's debut. Just didn't like the pitch, occasion and was incredibly nervous on the ball. Thought Colo was fine for the most part. Probably the only player who was, in all honesty.
-
Probably wasn't a red, but Pardew has received exactly what he deserved for a frankly ridiculous piece of management.
-
Exactly. You'd think we had a team of unfit sunday league players based on the whole "surely they can't play THREE TIMES in fourteen days without injuring themselves?" attitude.
-
More down to opportunities I'd say True I agree. But when he has had his chance he's not looked anything special. I'd say he's more of a gamble than Larsson. Agree totally, the thing is i dunno if Larsson would be happy being a 'squad player' which suggests to me, if he does sign, he will be a 'starter'. Didn't Pardew say earlier in the week that if any player was to come in, they'd have to do so knowing that they wouldn't walk straight into the team? I think Larsson will be aware that he'll have to put up a fight - especially if he wants to play wide right.
-
Much rather have Larsson in as a squad player than Bentley, who'd likely become unsettled quite quickly here if he was in and out of the team, and who would cost more in both transfer fee and wages.
-
I think he only did it to share photos etc., saves the hassle of uploading on them on Twitter AND Facebook.

If you want to talk about Sunderland, stick it in the relevant thread.
