Certainly looks like he's got something this lad, will be an honour to see him warming the bench of Dunfermline next season.
-
Well one of them managed it this season.
-
Everton will be down next season. You can only swirl around the drain for so long, as we know ourselves. Sad to see Leicester go to be honest.
-
Players are clearly on holiday as well like.
-
Listening to Gary Birtles commentary you'd think he was Pele, not the absolutely dog shite striker that he was.
-
Yeah, and Liverpool are certainly capable of spanking Southampton, so we're going to need it I reckon
-
His pressing was outstanding. He's so much better when he's on the left hand side of the pitch.
-
His set pieces were good, but his defending was even better. Monster performance from him.
-
Almiron costing us there, absolutely unmissable chance.
-
This Leicester side is one of the most gutless teams I've ever seen. Not sure I'd want to sign any of their players, Maddison included.
-
Both outcomes to this season are fine are as far as I'm concerned... While Champions League football feels more "exciting" and will help attract better players, we'd almost certainly be an also-ran, and I can't help but feel Europa League may actually be better in a way, in that we would actually be one of the favourites to win it.

I did feel at the time that Howe got this sub wrong, made sense at 1-1 but at 2-1 it always felt like a risk, I think Anderson on and possibly Joelinton going to the left would've made more sense. I guess he was anticipating Leeds leaving gaps but it never really happened.

Only if you hadn't read the context of the previous posts you were replying to.

Yeah and the post of mine that you quoted wasn't in response to you, it was in response to other posts in this thread, so I'm not really sure what your point is

There's a stark difference between being critical of the performance and labelling the group of players "pathetic" and "bottlers", or individual players who've carried us to this position (ie. Trippier) as being "fucking dogshit". You can be constructive without throwing your toys out of the pram.
-
It's crackers man. You'd think our fans would've developed some perspective under Ashley, especially the one's who've been around for years. Apparently not though
-
The same Liverpool who got beat off Bournemouth who were fighting for their lives?

Constructively, the issues today were the same as in recent weeks. The first issue being that we have a few players that are clearly out of form - it happens, it doesn't make the players shit. The second issue is that we've lost a key component to our midfield in Longstaff and have had to replace him with a guy who doesn't know the role in Joelinton. He's learning the position on the job and, because he's used to playing further up the pitch, doesn't really know where to be when other players are on the ball and sometimes wants too much time when he's on it. This isn't a criticism of Joelinton, he's outstanding. He just isn't a CM. There's certainly an argument that we should have strengthened there in January, but obviously the correct player wasn't available. If that means we miss out on top 4, we need to learn from that and strengthen the squad depth next season. The reality is that 18 months ago we were a ship that was sinking due to being riddled with holes, we've plugged most of those holes in a ridiculously short space of time but it's inevitable that a few would still remain. It's far too early in the transitional process to wet the bed over it.

What a bottle job by the lads. Pathetic. Mentally weak cunts. Expected 3rd place to be worst case by this stage personally.
-
A team that is weak as fuck mentally doesn't go from 19th in the league to European Spots in less than 18 months.
-
Some of the posts in here have gone beyond basic criticism like.
-
Disappointing but some of the posts in here have been fucking embarrassing man. Remember where we've come from lads, the fact we're in the race for THIRD in the league with three games to go is ridiculous. If we don't get there we don't get there, it's not the end of the world, let's not start acting like entitled babies and turning on the players who've got us here, fucking hell.
-
Aye, teams can have a bad game away from home sometimes in this kind of atmosphere when there's so much at stake, it happens.
-
The reactions in here man, fucking hell you'd think we were the ones playing to stay in the league.
-
Right, now fucking wake up
