I think all of you are right. Great disruption, huge presence, useful forward carrying, but poor passing decision making at times and trying to do too much because there was no other creative presence in the middle of the park. He will easily be a top 6 player if he has better midfielders around him, letting him play to his strengths.

I agree, better today. Some nice, calm moments.

I find it so weird we can have such different perspectives. In a match where everyone else played well I thought he was totally anonymous until the last twenty minutes, when he did play some good football.

I used threat too many times.

Milner is nowhere near Robert in attacking threat. Slower, less powerful, less of a threat from a dead ball. I agree that overall he's a better player and has had a better career, because of his attitude, versatility and work rate, but he doesn't hold a candle in terms of threat.

Have you been watching a totally different game? He looks shot man. He can't pass the ball more than five yards. If he did play that pass to Murphy then it's his only high point - I thought it was Bruno.

Not sure I agree. He's been mostly rubbish but there have been some more bright sparks than in recent weeks. That through ball to Joelinton. The pull back to guimarães. Even some of his aimless dribbling in the box has the potential to win a penalty from a rash challenge.
