Mbemba's just fantastic. He never stops running. Even when he doesn't get the ball he's pulling their FBs out of position. Without his run Hayden wouldn't have got in there.
-
I thought he was terrible first half, great second. As people say, it was his first start and he was probably caught on the ball a little to begin with. Bodes well for the future though.
-
Mbemba and second half Merino good. Everyone else terrible.
-
Yeah. Gash first half, much better second.

He's an uncomfortable player to watch. All arms and legs, his posture makes him look panicky but actually he's generally alright on the ball and has a decent range of passing. As for Mangala, every time I've seen him he looks utterly brainless. Physically he's ideal for a centre half but during a match he has the look of a man who is wondering whether his wife is looking through his phone. I miss Titus

What the fuck was Lascelles marking?

Mitro did well there

Bizarre how different opinions can be watching the same game. I think Perez is looking dangerous.
-
What a ball by Perez.

The official site radio is usually fine for me, but terrible today. Are there any other sources (don't need to link to them if that's not allowed, just want to know whether it's worth searching).

Nonsense. It's been used for centuries to describe a tradesman who has completed an apprenticeship but is not a master craftsman. "Journey" comes from the French journée, meaning day (i.e. a day's work for a day's pay) - nothing to do with travelling, although Journeymen did often travel from town to town to gain experience.

Apparently best on the pitch tonight despite not scoring in a 7-0 win. http://m.goal.com/s/en-gb/match/psg-vs-bastia/2379084/ratings

Noticeably all left foot though. Never crossed from the by-line, almost always cut back and lost time.
-
Nonsense. He was probably our best player in the first half yesterday. Went off the boil in the second, but he's direct and dangerous. Final balls were nearly there too.

When we got a free kick for a Forest player being offside and he let us take it in their half He didn't just let us, he made us move the ball from our half into theirs. Totally weird moment.

Consensus from Twitter seemed to be he was booked for fouling Perez, then was immediately booked again for dissent - either something he said or for apparently chucking the ball at Gayle. On Twitter the journalists were saying the fourth official was involved. He clearly didn't throw the ball at Gayle, the highlights show that. The fourth official was involved. Ref had a long discussion with him. That's why I don't understand the dissent argument. Unless the first yellow was dissent and the second was the fourth official saying that the foul also merited a card. Totally bizarre in any case.

Disagree strongly about Lascelles. I thought he stood out positively, especially compared to Clarke who was very poor first half.
-
Just got back from the match. Any consensus yet what Matt Mills was sent off for? No one near me had a clue what it was all about and still none the wiser from reading reports. Nufc.com thinks that it was dissent, but second yellow followed a long discussion with the fourth official so that doesn't make much sense to me.

Well that was enjoyable. I was standing in the Gallowgate for that match, and it really brought memories flooding back. What stands out on watching it now is how gung-ho both sides were. There seemed to be no focus on retaining possession, and a willingness to sprint 100% every time the ball changed hands. Perhaps the overall skill level was lower in those days (Waddle apart), but the intensity made for a much more viscerally exciting spectacle.

Actually, pretty sure the nufc.co.uk radio is now free. Maybe update OP?

Disagree. Apart from Shelvey, I think they've all been excellent given the circumstances. Other than the OG, Lascelles has been imperious. Think he's on about Forest. Well that doesn't make much sense.
