Parked here. Still plenty of space. It says four hour max stay but I'm going to risk it.
-
Yeah, this looked extremely worrying.
-
Oh, I went for eticket to save the postage. Did I make a mistake?

Car parking is something I hadn't considered. Save me doing my own research, what is the deal? ? We'll be driving on the day but I don't mind getting there plenty early. Edit, overcoming my own laziness, there is useful information here: https://www.awaygames.co.uk/away-day-guides/luton-town-away/#1467752466853-8bcf3018-3343

I have no idea what games you watched. He was an absolute menace.

I agree. And spurs are always capable of a dramatic collapse. So let's keep a head of steam and see what happens.

Thanks for the heads up. I've got two in MSD. I'm sure they'll open up more areas when these fill, but it will be good to be in a crowd.
-
I think you'll be surprised. There are plenty of exiled Geordies, like me, who used to go to a lot of Men's away matches in London and surroundings but now can't get tickets, who will jump at the chance of a match like this.

The Luton town news page said it will be 23/3. I guess we'll see.

I wasn't clear about what I meant about the venue. I live in Cambridge so Luton works really well for me, but is inconvenient for others. I was hoping that would make it easier to get a ticket.
-
What do we reckon the ticket situation will be for the final? I would love to take my daughter to this but I don't have a season ticket or membership. 11k capacity seems small after today's 22k, but it's a long journey compared to playing at St James'

Once or twice he's come out quickly in a way that Dubravka never would have. And he's been decent at shot stopping too. Definitely man of the first half, not that there's much competition.

I hate this game. Free hit on 3xCity 3xLiverpool, 2xLuton and half of them injured or not starting for the second game. End up with less than my regular team would have scored.
-
I know it's heresy, but I actually think the arena site would be excellent. To be able to see the stadium clearly when coming over the Tyne bridge or on the railway would be just as special as the cathedral on the hill.

With what lineup? Karius Hall Tonali Parkinson Plus all the other fit players who aren't playing?
-
More like how far we have dropped behind.

Valued at 60m, as opposed to 50m for Williams https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/takefusa-kubo/profil/spieler/405398

No way Luton are getting that second goal with Pope in there.

Says the man with a Laurent Robert avatar and no vested interest. Having said that, I agree.

When you put it like that it sounds potentially very cheap. Leazes Terrace is less than 150m long. Let's say generously it's 15m tall, that's 2,250m2 for the front, the same for the back, plus the two ends, around 5000m2. Four hours of labour per m2 makes 20,000 hours. I don't know what this skilled labour costs, but let's assume £25/hour. That's only £500k. Pocket change in the scheme of a stadium rebuild.

Agreed. Sometimes it feels like other people are watching a different game. There was one missed run off a Bruno pass, but otherwise he's been all go. And very important in winning free kicks and relieving pressure.
-
I agree. Phillips is ideal because not only is he a great shield he also has an outrageous long past on him.

I don't see how anyone could be against this from a fan experience point of view. Obviously there is the problem of losing public grassland, but I think the overwhelming majority of the city population would think it a worthwhile trade.
