Holy fuck, is there a way to completely block threads? So they don't show up?
-
Might pop along to Wembley for the final if it doesn't sell out.
-
Owen dropped off when Martins came on, I noticed. Not sure what the point of that was.
-
anyone at the game to witness this?might be complete bollox but anyways ------------------ Mike Ashley was targeted by angry Newcastle fans yesterday during Liverpool’s 3-0 romp. The most obnoxious attack launched after the third goal where a fan accused him of being stingy and ruining Keegan’s chances of a good team. Another fan who had been drinking hours earlier made a lunge for him but at the end of the day Ashley was targeted and blamed as the fans back former red Kevin Keegan. The game was dominated by Liverpool and angry Newcastle fans are now hoping they avoid relegation and Ashley loosens the purse strings. http://kop-tv.com/go/headlines/ashley-assaulted-by-angry-newcastle-fans/ http://nufcblog.com/2008/03/09/newcastle-news/mike-ashley-tastes-newcastle-fans-venom/ That was always going to happen at some point. I saw everyone looking at one bit further below but couldn't see what was going on, then some police waded in, might have been then cos the people down there were singing the Ashley song as it was going on.

That's the one thing I'm clinging onto, too. Other teams being as shit as we are.

Part terrified part hopeful.

Surely not at Anfield though where they are the best fans in the world ?? The worst are Arsenal fans. The Emirates is surely the most soulless ground in the country, all those canape wielding solicitors in the corporate seats. I'd have to disagree there, we were beaten 3-0 at Arsenal and at Liverpool and there's was a hell of a lot more noise from Arsenal's fans. That's just this season though obviously.

Said at the time, them pricks don't deserve a team like that, as soon as the initial celebration of the goals went they sat back down and went silent. As far as our fans were concerned that was the best atmosphere I've heard, we all expected to get hammered so there was no moaning. Everyone just took the piss and had fun the last 20 minutes.

agreed Agree, he's a good outlet that can stretch the defence of other teams. Should look to upgrade though if we stay up.

Harper Beye Cacapa Taylor Enrique Geremi Faye Barton (Emre if fit) Zog Martins Owen We need Faye in midfield, some genuine strength and aggression.
-
that sounds like an excuse arsene wenger would use after losing (assuming there werent any fould that he failed to see) It bobbled like 2 foot in the air at one point for Bendtner.
-
"Any-one, But Alan Smith" (to the tune of taking the piss) should be sung at every game from now on till he gets dropped.
-
The lack of movement in the side is shocking. Felt sorry for Oba, he won a few headers today and noone in a black and white shirt was within 15 yards or so, shocking, really is. You could see him getting more and more worked up then eventually snapped and hit that shot, fair fucking play, noone else was willing to mix it up. I'm beginning to believe that Smith does have a clause in his contract, there's no fucking way 99% of the crowd could see he's an atrocious football player and KK can't, no fucking way. PS Our lack of invention from throw ins literally reminds me of school boy football, absolutely pathetic.

I thought Anfield had a good atmosphere? I've heard more singing at Craven Cottage. Nice one on playing Smith in a midfield 5 and leaving Martins on the bench Kevin, good move mate.
-
Bad news about Voronin, may push Torres up the pecking order. Fucking dreading this now, praying we don't get hammered.
-
Maybe but they're taught how to get the best out of it.
-
Constant turning, jumping etc takes it toll as well.
-
Wenger. Would love to see him win the Champions league. Hopefully beating Man Utd in the final.
-
Beating Inter and AC both in the San Siro, not a bad acheivement for Arsene.
-
It's funny how it works out, if Arsenal had won in the 1st leg they'd have been nowhere near as attacking and would have tried to have held their lead, which would have played into Milan's hands and I reckon they would have lost the tie, I reckon they have a better chance of winning in this situation.
-
2-0 win.
-
Arsenal playing it like a prem game and playing AC off the park. Seemed like a goal was coming, then the ref blew up for HT. Hope they sustain that, really want them to win it.

Should None Season Ticket Holders Have Their Own Forum?

That was the 500000th post in the football bit. Well played mate. -
My (late) Grandad slipping on the stairs onto his arse at Leeds before coming to a halt about 15 steps down. Got a big "Wheyyyyy" from about 40ish fans.

With their fixtures I'd go Bolton.
