Emre must play, can't go on with this Butt Barton Geremi combo. Neither of them get into the box (well Barton does the odd time) unless it's a set piece. Also one of the 3 upfront in Milner plays more like a midfielder and rarely threatens the goal or gets into the box enough. Not saying Emre will arrive late banging in goals but at least he can travel with the ball and attract some of their players and also has the ability to punish them with a killer ball (has the ability but whether he produces it is another story. Playing Butt Geremi and Barton against Derby would be ridiculous. My Team would go like: ------------Given Beye---Taylor---cacapa---Zog -----Barton----Butt---Emre ---Smith----Viduka------Martins Leave Milner out for a rest, play 3 strikers and really go at them. Also bring Enrique on at some point for Emre and swap him with Zog. 2-0 win.

Going for my fourth correct prediction in a row - I think 2-0 win.

Last year we would have lost that game, that's the pleasing thing for me. Shows we're getting better, however gradually. If we had one midfield player who could switch the ball we would have been much better off as well, loads of times Milner and Zog were standing on the left 2 vs 2 but the ball was bogged down over the other side, with both teams just slugging it out and trying to play short passing to get out.

Maybe not the top 4 but certainly teams in the top 10. Again difficult to agree when there are better managers who would do a better job. I would be furious if one of them was given our job. To be honest I'd be pretty content with Boothroyd as our manager, probobly Shearer as well. If Wise and Ince get thier sides promoted this year then I think any doubts I have about them would go. You think Allardyce is tactically inept? Try having Boothroyd as a manager, simply mind-boggling how frustrating the tactics are. Even so, we're not doing too badly, but our form is scarily bad at the moment. They better not not get promoted.
