I noticed how everything was going down the left in the second half down to him being marked and basically making life easy for the left back by not moving, cutting in, linking up etc. Which made us easy to play against and predictable. Obviously this wasn;t all down to him but he played a major part imo.

Enrique should have been on after 60 mins, Emre after 75 ish, that was plenty enough to give us a better chance of equalising.

Think we are more solid rather than 'better'. I agree though we need something going forward. Really think Milner needs to be replaced, sorry but we're just so one dimensional whenever he gets the ball, he never comes inside and links up, doesn't get into the box and lets face it his crossing isn't the best. We need someone with more variety. Everyone goes on about the centre and their right but a hell of a lot of play comes from the wings aswell and we seem to favour using that route, he just hasn't got enough to his game.

He needs to be dropped, so does Smith. Have Emre Barton and Geremi in there till Jan then replace Emre with a proper CM creator.

Think we've just been out performed by a very good side today. We have played well in parts though and there is a lot of positives to take out of it. Just a few tweaks here and there (positioning at the back, killer ball to name 2) and we'll be a much, much better team. Also starting to get a few players back now aswell.

Henry's hit the woodwork a few times and has looked decent the games I've seen.
