Not ahead, I just see it as two completely different striking positions, one involving Owen and Martins. the other with Ameobi, Viduka and Smith. And we should pick one from each. Picking two from one is stupid imo becuase they're too similar (if we're playing 442). I would use Martins after about 55 minutes after Ameobi has worn their defence a bit and they begin to tire. It's all about balance and Owen and Martins isn't balanced at all, therefore you have to pick one of them, and Owen's the one in form.

Given Beye Rozehnal Cacapa Enrique Milner Faye Butt N'Zogbia Owen Ameobi Would encourage Butt to get forward a bit more as I think he's underrated attacking wise. Ameobi was a tough decision over Smith, but we have options so can change if it's not working well.

Controversial in what way? Controversial is putting it lightly, it is never a pen. Henry has passed the ball and realised noone is in the box so instead he has tried to wrap his leg around the keeper and flung himself to the floor. Absolute joke of a penalty. Absolute joke of a post. You cannot say Henry has tried to win a pen. It is clear to anyone who has watched it that although the pass was misplaced their is nothing Henry can do to get out of the way of the keeper who comes sliding out. What? Henry has run into the box, flicked the ball away from the keeper and then proceeded to run into him, clouting him in the gob on the way past, that was the only major contact and the thing that Henry used to go down. Nothing the keeper could have done to have avoided it. It was never a penalty.

Yep, his movement and anticipation get him on the end of enough balls as well to make him a threat from crosses. He'll never climb above a defender for a cross, but he'll get there before them so he won't need to. The cross has to be perfect though. What I was saying in my other post was Milner could put 10 decent balls in, 8 of which probably wouldn't find Owen's run, which makes him out to be a poor crosser. If it was Shearer in the box though, a different story entirely. A lot more would be converted and Milner would seem to be better.
