  1. Agent Bruce Dunno about that. I was never that impressed with him until who I saw he got deadline day and the type of footy he wants to play. He shot up in my estimation. Di Matteo would be my choice though or Laudrup Still surprised nobody has offered him a job after being sacked at Chelsea. I believe I read that he was still being paid by Chelsea. Kind of like an extended ''garden leave''
  2. Im sitting here wanting my team to lose tomorrow. Hoping it will fasten a noose around this bastards neck.
  3. Would John Guidetti not be a good option to consider. I know he has been ''parked'' at M. City for a while, but I think he could do a good job for us.
  4. Love to see us buy Lukaku. (yes wishful thinking I know)

  7. Based on? 1 world cup game? I have no idea what he is like. So that's why I asked the question, in hope of a constructive reply. You're a bit keen to jump down peoples throats aren't you
  8. Opinions on Yedlin as a replacement ?
  9. Only seen him on you tube, but looks like a bit of a ox.
  10. Now, PLEASE fuck off Pardew.
  11. Im sure I read somewhere that he is still getting paid, handsomely, by Chelsea.
  12. He had the opportunity to sack him, with no come-back, after the ''head-butt'', so why go through this pantomime?

RTG just gets better and better. Apparently the mackems started all the chants going and everybody else stole them. With NUFC being the worst culprits. This includes ''The Blaydon Races''
  14. The way I read it was the other investors in SD vetoed his bonus of £73 million. So he turned around and sold a huge amount of share costing said investors £500million. Hate him or hate him, that's what you call revenge

Concerted effort from the mackems to claim the term'' The Lads'' as their own atm. Every other post using it. Wonder if they get instructions from a Love Supreme?

Funnily enough, often the same people who are convinced their hooligan element is harder than ours. Or their own players driving around shooting at people with an air gun. Or their supporters smashing their place up after a derby defeat, admittedly, it was hard to notice. Or NHS reports stating that Sunderland has the highest percentage of obese supporters in the country. Or how they love to go to the airport with their strips on and don't seem to remove them until after they return home. I think the term is ''Selective Denial''

Quite a few years ago I had a good mate, from Sunderland, berating me about how money is invested in Newcastle and not in Sunderland. He pointed out the Arena, which was just nearing completion at that time. I can remember him going on about how One North East were willing to plough money into that project even though there were other venues in Newcastle yet nothing in Sunderland. He was more than a little surprised and confused when I informed him that the Arena. Like many projects in Newcastle were funded privately. In the case of the Arena by Chas Chandler. Not One North East. That one of their Uber-fans, namely Steve Cram, chose to open a shop in Newcastle and not in Sunderland, a well know record shop that had branches throughout the North east, owned by two Sunderland supporters had branches Newcastle and Gateshead YEARS before Sunderland . That their own city council chose to destroy their town centre with a one way system. A lot of inward investment, re-building and refurbishment is done by the people of this city privately without recourse to the public purse. Newcastle and Gateshead are pulling to build a twin city and it doesn't matter what spin Sunderland people try to put on it they are falling further and further behind because they are not willing to back their own city. Sunderland council even invest heavily in Newcastle Airport ( yes that's its real name not Ponteland ). On the one hand Sunderland fans love to say they own it or condemn the fact that it is not at the top of Northumberland Street. And yes, amongst all this we have the anomaly of the Metro system which Sunderland didn't get for years. But then again Sunderland supporters do seem to take a great joy in smashing it up. The point being if the people of Sunderland will not invest in their own town, why expect anyone else, especially your hated neighbours to do it for you ?
