You did it when Hughton was manager?
-
Nope, not me. Why not? You realise if the players have your attitude we are dead?
-
Get yourself away to SOL then. No one forces you to support the Club.
-
As it's looking more likely Pardew will darken NUFC's with his dour presence, who IS prepared to give him a fair chance. I'll happily give any manager a chance (well, except Souness who's a cunt) I think it best he reciieves a warm welcome. Lets hope the players give a him a warm reception or its fucking curtains.
-
I hope he gives more than the last time we went down.

I'd guess 9 points from 24 at home went a good way to getting him the tin tac. What about 19 points from 16 games? 12th in the league. You've wanted him out for ages and had to suffer the embarrassment of us beating the mackems 5-1, winning at Arsenal and beating Chelsea. Sadly you got your wish thanks to the thickest, fattest man in Britain. I wasn't embarrassed by us beating the mackems 5-1. I quite enjoyed it although I sort of knew it was merely delaying the inevitable. Like I said - 9 points from 24 will have went as far as anything in Ashleys mind to replace him. We'll stay up on the bcak of home form. Folk just simply don't remenmber (or don't want to remember) the results we were pulling in our relegation season. Deja-vu for me and likely Ashley. The last 2 away games our next 2 or 3 home games. Ashley has done it at the right time (if it was to be done at all) The week we had two games at home which could have set us up nicely would have got Ashley thinking. Blackburn and Fulham on the back of Stoke and Blackpool. Two (four)fucking pathetic performances - in fact very similar performances to the ones which took us down two years ago. Remember?

He's still gone.

It shouldn't go unnoticed that probably the final nails in Hughtons coffin where driven in by Barton, Colo and Williamson.

Mick Dennis is a Toon hating cunt to be fair.
-
Dear me mate. Why the needless insult?
-
He's been a dead man walking for weeks man. Decent result here and there has kept the wolf from the door. The last two away performances did for him. 2 out of 15 points.
-
Aye mate I know who you are!! But, you know exactly what will happen on Saturday - and it wont be pretty.
-
Why don't the folk who wish to protest not just fucking stay at home and make what ultimately is the finest protest of all. I dread to think the of the IQ behind some of the bedsheet banners we'll see this weekend. STAY AT FUCKING HOME

Exactly what I said yesterday in the boozer. Who the fuck is authorising 5+ year contracts when the manager only has (or had) 6 months?
-
When the "correct" thing is done at an "incorrect" timing, how could that be a correct decision? I'd rather he went now as opposed to when we are completely fucked. I doubt Shearer would try his eight game gamble again.
-
The correct thing to do. And no one can say I'm being hypocritical either. I have been clear in the fact I don't think Hughton was/is good enough to be manager of NUFC. It was ALWAYS going to be when and not if. I feel sorry for Hughton (taking away the fact he need never get out of bed to work again if he so chose) he is indeed an amiable and likeable chap. It would be hard to say he hasn't been a credit to himself or the way he came across as a figurehead for the Club - especially when nothing at all was coming from above. Perhaps its his personality as much as anything that has done for him. He was also taking us down. You will always be in trouble with his home record alone. Last two away humiliations. This only becomes a disaster if the right move isn't made now. And I, like the majority, wouldn't trust Ashley to pick up dogshit with a shovel. Thanks for the 5-1 though and good luck - go back to being what you are, a decent coach.
-
He's as mobile and has the turning circle of the Ark Royal.
-
And how the fuck does it work that a manager with months and weeks on his contract is authorising 5 and a half year contracts for players?
-
Amazing folk still want to keep this moron in charge.
