  1. That was my first reaction too.

No but he's hardly been the most positive and upbeat of managers. He'd wrote them off back in September FFS  .

    Really missed this bloke.
  4. Diame/Colback midfield with all of the mobility of a one wheeled wheelchair.
  5. Rafa Benitez is our manager. Our manager under a Mike Ashley regime. Predeccesors include Kinnear, Hughton, Pardew and McClaren. Just let that sink in for a minute. He's a helluva problem to have.
  6. Mackems best chance of Points is over the next two games (Watford and Burnley). They'll need wins here to start the annual 'getting away with it again' party. Could see it happening too.
  7. He's one of probably only 3 or 4 PL quality players we have in our squad. As he showed the last time we were there................oh wait. He was still one of our better players last season. He got dropped directly before our best run of form I can only remember him missing the palace game? He played against Swansea, Liverpool and spurs, no? He didn't start any of the games when we went on a good run at the end of the season. He looks a lot fitter this season than last season Didn't he have to train all summer to get back into the reckoning under Rafa? Either way, he was complete gash in the Prem and I've got serious doubts how he'll do next time around. He's only decent when he gets acres of space/time. He started first few games this season and then was dropped for a couple till his fitness was sorted. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/jonjo-shelvey-reveals-scrapped-summer-11609926

  10. Hope he gets violently attacked.

  12. Would like to see us take a punt on Kieran Gibbs who is out of contract soon.
  13. I'd be looking to replace him. I can't get past his performances in the Prem last time out and he's not exactly set this league on fire. He's been decent and what you would expect from a £12m midfielder at this level.
  14. This is it imho. We really need some leaders if we do go up. A proper central midfield leader to drag us through games.
  15. But they didn't which probably helped them mentally today. A last minute goal is always a big boost.
  16. It's worth bearing in mind that Brighton went to Forest a couple of weeks ago and got bent over. That same Forest side are not half the team Fulham are. It's also worth noting that Fulham are second in the form league over the last 10 games so this was always going to be a really difficult game, arguably as hard as Brighton/Huddersfield imho.
  17. Yes please This will be amazing. He did a cracking job with the Winehouse doc.
  18. I'm really not that arsed. My only concern for the summer window is coming through it with Rafa still here tbqh.
  19. These guys are second top of the form league over the last ten games. Really hoping for a win but, again, I don't think a draw would be a disaster.
  20. I should imagine they'll always attract really strong crowds due to the London tourist market.
  21. I got: NUFC: 98 Points Huddersfield: 94 Points Brighton: 91 Points.
  22. I learned to drive there, I was seeing multi-lane roundabouts in my sleep. Fuck that. I'd rather move How did you ever get anywhere? Train?
  23. As I said in the pre-match thread, Reading is the worst part of the country to drive in. Fucking nightmare. I've literally never had a good experience when driving through there.
  24. You say that but everyone would've backed Brighton against Forest and they got bummed. I still think April will tough, even against the cloggers, purely due to fatigue.
