  1. Incredibly nervous now and have been for most of the year. It just seems written in the stars that we'll be battling Arsenal on the last day needing a win to stay up. Quite how Pardew has contrived to take a team littered with internationals to this point is beyond me. I accept the 'Ashley/Boards Lack of Backing over the Summer' arguments completely but there's genuinely no plausible excuse for the nature of these performances nor the results. The lack of heart, fight, desire is frightening, the lack of momentum and form hugely concerning and the overall lack of application from the top down somewhat baffling. I genuinely do not see where the next point is coming from and fully expect Wigan to pick up one win which is enough to give them hope.
  2. Looks a million miles from a Colo replacement thus far.
  3. Gonna get fucked. Nolan and AC both to score.

    Alan Pardew

Pardew coming out for interview in a minute.
  5. We had an excuses target. We've fucking smashed it to bits. Too true.
  6. Like it fucking mattered.

    Players in public

Did he speed down to the front row, realise he didn't know what to do next, try to turn around, fall over spilling popcorn and fanta all over the audience?
  8. If the way to judge this is by which defeat hurt the most then Sunderland would get my vote. There's no shame in losing to quality over 180 minutes but to submit to your local rivals is shameful.
  9. Does that fucking useless 'winger' still play for them? Fucking Tchoyi or something? Is he even still alive? Either way WBA 3-0 with a Tchoyi hatrick.
  10. In terms of what I'd be looking for: - Someone who could send a team out with a gameplan and a set shape. - Someone who could engender a form of football that is centred around movement and fluidity not rigid lines and long balls. - Someone who could be a long term appointment to fully establish this ethos throughout the club (inc kids/reserves). This probably rules out Redknapp (too old for a legacy 'builder'), Moyes (efficient football but often turgid) and Benitez. I'd plump for either a Laudrup or a AVB type manager i.e: young(ish), can set their sides up properly and are more like first team coaches than traditional managers.

Or AVB in the summer before Spurs got him.

    Cometh the lumbering joke.
  13. Yep. Still our best defender. We're gonna be pining for this fella next season.

Worth noting that in the interview for Sky Sports (literally...........) just before the kick off he said that it was one of, if not the, strongest sides he's put out all season. Prdew back in full force it would seem.
  15. Perfect smiley use. Not sold on him as yet.
  16. I'd try and tempt Michael Laudrup.

I would literally stab a baby to avoid Harry Redknapp being our manager. Where are you with Pardew now Ian? Would you replace him and if so, with who?

Redknapp with this team bringing Remy with him would take us up two levels. Tend to agree with that if you look at the way he had Spurs playing.

    Alan Pardew

Wont happen as he doesn't want to move from the South Coast. He's only got one more job in him, so he has to go for the biggest club he can get. Are there any bigger than ourselves who would give him a job?
