  1. Since David Batty you mean, pisses all over Parker. Agreed.
  2. Me too, I'd give the big AC a free dig at any of them with 5 minutes left. A bonus for each one he can pwn without getting sent off.
  3. Done a double on: - Under 2.5 Goals in the Man Utd game and: - Over 2.5 in the Spurs game. Comes out about 4/1ish.
  4. Theres nothing fickle about telling the truth.
  5. Fucking criminal subs again. Taking Tiote off was fucking ludicrous. Clearly doesn't have the bollocks to drop that useless scouse streak of piss.
  6. Or just like normal people who adapt to their habitats Normal? Normal is a Geordie living in London for 3 years coming back with his accent diluted, not fully blown cockney. Certainly not an Englishman living in Holland for 3 weeks and speaking broken English, then changing to a German accent a few months in to a stay in Germany. It's just not normal, and if it was no one would be batting an eyelid, as it stands people are taking the piss out of him, fans and media alike. I've been in Spain for 20 days before, I didn't come back talking like Rafa Benitez even though I was young and trying to interact with the Spanish in their language, why? Because I'm not a mentalist like McClaren. I just hope his next job is in Asia. Can you imagine? So, Steve, how do you explain your sides defeat in your management debut here in Thailand? "Thee oppo nence pray velly goo fooboar I sink. Ha so. Me, you fucky fucky, 10 dollar"

There's a good chance it's just the Marseille chairman using his old media chums to peddle a story to make us shit or get off the pot. Let's hope this isn't dead yet.
  8. If you go to Old Trafford with such a negative formation you deserve nothing more. Fucking garbage - Jonas & Routledge occasionally cross the half way line and there's nobody there cos Carroll is the only fucker working. Nolan is a fucking shitehawk. Hate the bastard.
  9. He didn't have that left when he joined us the little shitehawk.
  10. A few things give me enough confidence to think we'll survive: - the squad appears to be as 'united' as it's been in years. If we had this spirit when we went down we would have survived. I'd rather have a lesser squad in terms of big names (Martins, Owen etc) who gave a shit. When the going got tough last time out our lot disappeared, I don't think they'll do that this time. For all we lack in quality, we'll make up in heart and there won't be that vacuum of pressure which seemed to suck us down to the bottom three last time out. - Pressure is off this year - nobody is expecting anything other than a battle - fans expectations are significantly lower than in previous campaigns which will mean less people get on the teams back and win Hughton some time. - I think we'll strengthen in the right areas. CH already has to a point (Campbell, Perch and Gosling are reasonable acquisitions in terms of boosting numbers if not long term quality) and the fact he's identified Ben Arfa should inspire confidence that, come January, if we're struggling he will further plug gaps sufficient for us to have a chance. The Board would be more willing to fund after experiencing the financial impact of relegation previously. - Board Relationship - let's be honest, they chose CH because he was cheap and probably a yes man. Ashley and Co. are capable of anything but I don't foresee a fall out nor do I foresee them telling him he's got to sort out the wage bill or sell too many bodies - in short, they're probably just about singing off the same hymn sheet. That wasn't the case when we went down, nor was it the case at Hull/Pompey last year or Leeds previously or Southampton or Sheff Wed - basically one club a year are pretty much guaranteed to go down because of either a Board's unrealistic expectations or pressure in respect of finances. That could be West Ham this year or Wigan. If we do go down this year, I don't think Ashley will be the cause because CH is probably quite clear on what he can and can't spend and the fact that 4th Bottom is a result. - There are plenty of points to be had when you look around the bottom half of the division and St James' Park is still an intimidating place to come if you're used to playing in front of a handful of people at Wigan, Fulham, Blackpool etc. For me, we're one little 'off the shoulder' front man away from me putting my money where my mouth is and having a few quid on Betfair on our survival.
  11. Easily the signing of the summer if that comes off. I doubt one of the top 10 players in the country the previous season has dropped down to that level, considering players who tear up the second division these days like Scotland, Chopra and Ebanks-Blake are out of their depth in the top flight. Merson to Boro?
  12. Do it now mate - you can get 2.5/1 on Betfair that they'll finish in the top 6. 5/1 that they'll get promotion and 15's that they'll win the league.

Did Ashleys lot negotiate with Marseille for Beye or was he bought during the Shepherd regime?

Aye sign Remy and then sue them and claim we were forced to sign Remy as a replacement so they have to pay his fee. A bit like denting your Skoda and telling Direct Line your purchase of a Ferrari needs paying for. I like your thinking.

He played the back end of last season with brain damage so a sore foot should see him back for the Man Utd game.

My preference would be a loan with an agreed fee at the end. That way we can 'try before we buy' in respect of both his ability and temperament and he'll also be a year closer to the end of his contract. I'd happily pay £1m now for the seasons loan with an agreed fee of £4.5m should we pursue. They get what they want, we get a chance of a player who we may be actually be able to afford right now. Roberts your fathers brother.
