  1. Yep . Genuinely as jammy as I've ever seen us too. So many games where we picked up points but undeservedly so. Literally zero games where we lost points undeservedly. Off he fucks, for me. 12 home goals conceded in 15 home games is jammy? Chelsea at home - robbed them. Norwich at home - robbed them. Brighton at home - robbed them. Everton away - robbed them. JAMMY AS FUCK. Thanks for ignoring my question. If luck evened itself out over a season, where would we be? Bottom two for me. Overall stats indicate that. As for your question, he's incredibly lucky he inherited such a very well drilled back four from Rafa tbh. He didn't inherit Rafa's forward line and we've scored 28 goals all season  . With such decent defensive stats, why are we showing a -13 goal difference?

  4. I'd actually flip that list on it's head. But I was born in 1992 so that's probably why. Hatem - Robert/ASM is very close and Ginola last for me as I didn't see anything quite as electric as the other 3 from him. Think his genius was in the subtleties though whereas the others are explosive. Ginola was the best player, Robert the biggest threat and HBA the most talent (most which was wasted) Not sure where ASM fits in with these, far too early. Hopefully he sticks around and shows us. Agreed.
  5. Spurs went for him heavily last summer apparently.
  6. He was full of praise for all the players and staff in the BBC interview, as well as all the people involved in making the changes to allow football to restart as well. Still a prick.
  7. 'It's all about meeeeeeeee, it's all about me baby'....Fuck off Steve.

    Joelinton

Still think he's worth a run with a manager capable of using him properly tbh.
  9. Staveley in tears in court after the Barclays lawyer completely rips her claims apart one by one. Basically saying she's a hustler/chancer/Self-Promoter.
  10. Any reason why Tuesday in particular? No - absolutely no logic behind it whatsoever, just a gut feel.
  11. I've fancied next Tuesday as 'D Day' for a while, so that's where my money is btw.
  12. Speaking purely hypothetically here.... If the takeover by KSA goes through and a journalist has been strongly supporting and/or parroting the messaging of Qatar, then there is a high probability of that journalist finding themselves frozen out of the club. They may find they have bet on the wrong horse and now there is a price to pay for that decision. Consequently, if they believe that the takeover has been approved, they may start trying to walk things back along the lines of "I'm just a journalist, I only report what I am told" in an attempt to convince the new owner that it wasn't their fault. It's the journalistic equivalent of "I was just following orders." I’d be all for Edwards, Bird and Martin Hardy being banned and that’s just the local ones. The negativity and click baiting these 3 have undertook leaves a bad taste. Hear you on Bird and Puke but I rate Martin Hardy and think he's at the much better end of the spectrum imho. FYI: Journo rating spectrum as follows; Ryder - - - - Edwards - - - - The rest - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Caulkin. I've gone on record as stating GC has dropped since he joined the Athletic but he is better than the others, just not as much as when he was at the Times imho. Hardy is at the closer end to GC than Edwards imho. How has he dropped after going to the athletic - he has produced quality stuff for them https://www.newcastle-online.org/forum/index.php?topic=103131.msg7238364#msg7238364 Been a full discussion on it here.
  13. It's exactly what Pedro has done above tbh. If you know you are leaving anyway it makes no sense to stay an extra month and risk an injury that could curtail your last big contract. It looks worse because Bournemouth are in trouble but I understand it. Pedro isn’t in the first team, they’re not dependent on winning/losing something on his form. Bournemouth have given him the position to be the player he is/thinks he is. They’re now massively in trouble. Not finishing the season is an absolute shithouse move. if he got injured in the last few games, badly, they'd throw him in the bin without a 2nd thought goes both ways Yep agreed. Can see both ways. I know what I'd want the player to do if I was a fan or I was running the club. I know what I'd do if I was Ryan Fraser. Tough one. BTW, I think he's a way better player than West Ham as someone has mentioned above. I think he's top 6 potential.

  15. A few reasons; 1) To get clarity on whether forum members think it will or won't happen. 2) To get clarity on when they think that might be. 3) To see if anyone thinks anything radically different may happen. The other thread is a mix of everything from people constantly chirping away with theories (myself included), dickheads boring people with 'tomorrow at 3:01pm' and people giving views on the geo-politics of it all. Therefore, it's not that clear on where people's heads are at with the probability of it happening and which way it'll go. I thought it'd be interested to find that out. The results have surprised me so its been of value to me, if not you. Cheers.
  16. If people have to Post stuff from Edwards can we not have another thread, somethinhg like “Edwards Waffle”....so we are pre warned if we click into the link....saves me getting angry every time i click into the Takeover thread only to find more inane Edwards dribble. Twitter bullshit thread surely?
  17. Course they fucking could. Does the WTO report confirm that any named entity or person was responsible for piracy? Nope. Does it prove that PIF had a role? Nope. Did it prove that PIF have any influence over crimes committed in their home country? Nope. Fuck off Edwards you utter prick.
  18. That crossed my mind too, mentioned it in the opening post. I could see that happening too. No question, the PL need to have a rock solid legal basis whatever they decide because they're gonna face a backlash and subsequent legal appeals either way.
  19. Interesting that over half of voters feel next week is the week, regardless of whether they think yes or no.
  20. Did you opt for a no or a yes IC?
  21. 12 Yes's Vs 8 No's right now. Be interesting to see if that ratio is maintained as/when more votes are placed.
  22. This cannot drag on forever, my gut feel is that we're on the home stretch and that we may hear something early next week. What do you predict and why? I'm opting for a No next week. That may turn into a 'No for now, you need to do x, y and z and then reapply' possibly but I'm torn between thinking of legal reasons for a no coupled with the strength of the Saudi's, not to mention the Reuben Bros influence at governmental levels also but trading that off is the negative vibes, the Qatar influence and the fact that good things don't happen to us. I'm therefore going for a no next week.
