Absolutely love Eddie in terms of what he stands for, his professionalism and how he has turned us around, but I think we’ve relied too much on plan A, which is too bully teams with our intensity and physicality. After plan A goes out the window, due to injuries and fatigue, I don’t think we have much else (that’s not to say lots of managers aren’t like this).

Exactly, he’s 33 not 43! It will be an off the pitch issue or possibly an injury that is causing the issue(s). I agree that he should be rested / carefully managed, but he’s in no way finished.

Love Eddie, but I’d agree that his handling of game time / injuries / rotation has been a weakness (and probably as a consequence of him not having that experience of playing in so many competitions at the same time). Really hope Gordon isn’t out for long.
