Same here. If we can get a decent manager & coaching team in, improve facilities (stadium, training ground, youth facilities) and focus on getting better commercial deals in place to unlock the potential in the club on its own without ridiculous cash injections I don't really mind what kind of transfer strategy we have as long we can see a clear plan and improve our performances.

Hope he, Charnley & Bruce all leave without making (or getting to make) any exit remarks. I hope this thread & the Bruce thread soon disappears into void on this board, never to be bumped again.

From what I can gather, 03/04 & 04/05 seasons were peak Bolton: 04/05 had: Campo Speed Candela Hierro Ngotty Ferdinand Jäskelainen Okocha 03/04 had some gems as well, sadly not present in the following peak season: Djorkaeff Ibrahim Ba Mario Jardel Javi Moreno However, they didn't have Speed, Candela, Hierro and Ferdinand that season so It's difficult to say what season was the most Bolton out of all the Bolton seasons. 04/05 probably tips it for me.

Doesn't matter. Next person will be just as hated as Kinnear, Pardew, Carver, McClaren & Bruce and we'll see the same repetitive and futile calls for the next persons resignation in no time. Did he really look class though? He scored a nice goal against Man Utd, but I can't remember him being anything other than tidy but unspectacular. Granted, it's quite some time since I saw him play for us so could be wrong.

Unless you deep down think there is a path of redemption for Ashley at this club and/or that the club can somehow compete under his constraints/neglect with the right manager, it is utterly stupid to complain about Bruce and you shouldn't bother wasting a calorie on him be it on here or elsewhere. You'll end up hating the next manager equally in no time anyway.
