I'd prefer if this was the route we took tbh. Gradual improvement through better commercial deals, improving infrastructure, smart transfer moves and growing the club organically within its own means sound like heaven compared to the Ashley years.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I love penalty shootouts. Whenever a final is 0-0 around the 80+ minutes I tend to hope it remains a stalemate for the remainder of the match + extra time. If it's been a good match with some goals, say 1-1 or 2-2 it's a different matter though, then I don't mind a late decider.

His offensive game doesn't get enough credit imo because of how solid he is defensively. Just take yesterday as an example. The first touch to bring down the cross field ball from Schar to get past the Arsenal player and play through Wilson was pure filth. Then from deep in our half he plays through Wilson for Whites yellow card. He also overlapped well and played a nice ball through a small gap between to Arsenal players into the box for our second goal. On top of that he is very good at set pieces.

In Norwegian studio they pulled up an interesting stat that Arsenal has conceeded first away from home 7 times this season. All 7 games have been lost, with them scoring 0 goals. They are bottom of the table both home and away if you sort it by who has most points starting from a losing position together with Norwich. As good as we were, I think it's fair of the media to criticize Arsenal on that part - not just for this game in isolation, but there's clearly something with the culture and/or mentality of the team that they need to address.

Agree based on ability. However he is one of the few sellable assets we are able to command a fee for so may end up not having a choice but to let him go. Would be happy to see him here next season based on his recent form.

Maybe they should try him in central midfield.
