Maybe, but I don't think all of our centerhalves would leave, I don't think Keegan would allow it. One of Faye, Cacapa or Taylor would stay on, and if Taylor left, how brilliant wouldn't it be if we kept Faye?
-
I know it sounds kind of corny, but if we were to go down, I wouldn't mind seeing a team like this: -----------------------Harper--------------------- New guy------Tozer-------Taylor-------Kadar Troisi------New guy---New guy-----Lua Lua ----------Carroll-----Zamblera/Baheng------- Would be kind of refreshing seeing a team that actually cared, and wanted to make an impression. Maybe a profilic striker is needed as well, but if we got a RB, two CM and a striker of high championship standard with some experience, I don't think it would be much trouble with getting promoted directly in our first season down. For all we know, a fresh start might be the thing we need to take the club back to the top again. It's absolutley ridicoulos how much the first team players are paid compared to what they can offer us in terms of skills and passion.

Cacapa will hopefully know how to stop Carew as they are former teammates at Lyon.

Beye-Cacapa-Faye-Enrique Duff-Emre-Barton-N'Zogbia Martins-Owen Surley?
-
I thought Emre played much better than Barton and Butt. Barton and Butt looked cemented into mid-circle while Emre did all the running in the first half. He kept the ball in the team and went on a few nice runs with and without the ball. Think he gets alot of stick unfairly based on sundays game.

http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/nufc/newcastle-united-news/2008/02/01/keegan-s-new-blood-vow-for-toon-72703-20424078/ Is it not only me who gives Anal just one star ratings for all his articles in desperate hope that his editors eventually will take the hint?

Arsene Wenger would never buy/use him because his lack of pace. factamundo.
-
His pace is awful. He always gets caught with the ball. His passing og crossing ability doesn't make up for his lack of pace as he is painfully average at both. It's time to let him go while we still can get a good fee for him. He won't get better in a better team, but if the rest of the team improves, it will conseal his flaws. We could use him in a swap deal for f.ex Barnes..?
-
Wounder if his kid is any good. Academy material?
-
Yeah, agree with elbee. He really bangs them in for me in the 2012/13 season!
-
I really don't hope Riise will come here. He has the worst goal per shot ratio in the league(maybe that was last season), isn't especially good at defending and most important, he is a grade A fucking cunt. I fucking hate him. If I met him in the streets somewhere in Norway, I would spit after him. I just can't support him, I really couldn't. There is nothing likeable about the guy what so ever. Most people in Norway think he is a joke of a person, and even if he has some skills, it's not much better then what we already have. Im backing Harry 100% on this one.
-
Of course. All clean sheets are taken as a positive, but in my opinion, Derby have fielded better offensive players in both their games than the team Bolton fielded yesterday.
-
Clean sheet is nice, but in all honesty, if there was one game we should get a clean sheet this season, this is the one. Look at the team Bolton fielded - did you really expect it would be a hard day at work for the defence? Not saying the defence didn't do a good job, they did. Especially Cacapa.
-
That's brilliant! Would probably scare the s*** out of Mike though... I want someone to do this tomorrow Ditto! I can just hear it. Everything is unsynchronized, so sounds like a real pack of geordie seagulls.

You and Harry-Norway are a disgrace too all the other Norwegians on this forum Brewcastle.

sounds like someone we know too much about...

This is the time we start to moan about everything Allardyce does, is it? I saw it coming tbh. Some people on here is way to boring and predictable. How about discussing something positive, instead of dragging the man through the mud we ought to be helping him up, along with his players. Sometimes I think the fans is the real cancer to this club.
-
Crouch Arshavin Modric Ben Haim Sounds perfect, and I totally agree with Toon's Taylor. Wouldn't be cheap, but it would certainly be worth it in the long run. These players would also make us much better suited for Allardyce's 4-3-3/4-5-1 system, and even make that tactic look exciting. Bring it on!
-
------------------Viduka----------------- Martins------------------------Arshavin -------Emre--Barton--Riquelme------- Enrique----Faye----Cacapa----Beye ------------------Given------------------ Looks like a damn good 4-3-3 to me. How realistic it is, is up to others to debate. Im a dreamer.

It's very easy to point fingers after a game like this, but how about giving some credit to a Reading team who were unbeliveably good at closing down every player we had on the pitch? Couldn't it be that the Reading players simply had more will to win the game then our players?' Giving Allardyce blame for the defeat isn't fair, as I thought both Emre and Geremi did a good job out wide today. I don't think Allardyce only was in it for one simple point. The scapegoat-hunting is going too far these days...
