Could see Fulham or West Ham being interested in him. Don't think Villa, Bournemouth or Brentford (unless they sell one of or don't think its worthwhile to continue betting on Schade and Lewis-Potter to come good) would be interested or needing him. That being said, I want us to have a squad with competition for places, so ideally he'll stay here.

That's my feeling too. Only thing I can think of is that the ref might have been thinking it was us that took so long to take the free kick prior, so it was not fair to extend the OT on our behalf....?

Brentford has been good at home this season, but they haven't really faced any top teams at home either. They've played Palace, Southampton, Leyton Orient, West Ham, Wolves, Ipswich, Sheffield Wednesday, Bournemouth and Leicester. The real test as many has already said is how we once again now have a chance to replicate our good performance against a team that may not motivate the players as much as the top teams. I don't expect a win necessarily, as Brentford are obviously really good at home despite not facing top teams, but I'd like to see the same desire/commitment/effort from the players here as against Liverpool.

Has there been any media discussion around the decision to end the game in the middle of our counter? They didn't discuss it at all post game in the Norwegian studio. Just wondering if its only us that are raging about it, perhaps wrongly, since nobody else seems to talk about it

Pretty good odds Barnes wouldn't have been able to get into those positions in the first place.
-
That actually calmed me down a bit Of course we would have.
-
hahahahah ref was sweating to call the game there
-
Would'nt mind Dubravka on now. Pope seems completely out of it.
-
Just glue Pope to one of the posts so he's unable to let one in on the near side. Burn can block rest of the goal.

He's physically incapable of playing Hall on the overlap Kind of embarrasing considering how good Hall is at crossing the ball.
-
End Van Dijks career someone.
-
Thank you Isak! Got me rock hard that one

Don't understand why we can't just rifle shots at goal more. Murphy's attempt has been our best this half. All other chances has been De Jong weak as piss specials.
-
Halls botched but ambitious attempts covering over for the useless performance by Bruno so far.
-
Murphy > Barnes & Gordon on RW for me. They simply aren't suited to play there. Start Gordon at LW, run him to the ground, put on Barnes for him around the 60-70th minute mark. Use the squad rather than putting square pegs in round holes.
-
That's probably my preferred starting line-up minus Botman.
-
We'll play surprisingly good, only to be let down by one dumb mistake or a shit decision. We'll hope that we can at least take the performance with us to Brentford only to lose 2-0 in a lacklusture performance. There'll be some nearly creaming themselves with delight over being able to paint everything black on here while others will be on suicide watch.

I'd be totally fine with it if he managed to squeeze in "I am for inclusion of LGBTQ+ people in football, but personally due to the way I interpret my religion, I could never be anything other than a straight CIS male" with really small text. That could of course be what he means with his messaging, but making these statements and not elaborating on them he opens himself up to scrutiny.

I get that, and said as much in my previous post. The question was more specifically to Segun when he wrote "One can acknowledge they exist without wearing the group's paraphernalia at their place of employment. Refusal to do so does not make them hateful or evil, no matter how much certain people will protest." as I was curious if he had the same opinion if the refusal was racially motivated.
-
Going back to the point @AyeDubbleYoo raised a few posts above. How would you feel if our captain refused to wear an anti-racism armband because he though black people were inferior? Genuine question btw. I don't think people choose their sexual orientation or identity same way people don't get to choose the color of their skin.
-
It's impossible to keep politics and religion out of football, like most things in life. There are religious LGBTQ+ people and allies as well, so I find it difficult to accuse him of having bigoted views unless he comes out and specifies exactly what he meant by this statement. Since he seems to be a near and good friend of Gordon who seems to be a canny person I want to give him the benefit of doubt and hope it was with good intentions. Sam Moresy refused to wear a rainbow armband for Ipswich against Forest, which would obviously be a better way to go about it if he had something against LGBTQ+ people.

Going through a few threads and its Howe out, only transitional manager anyway Isak brittle and not worth £100m+ anymore Pope lower table quality Gordon fucking shite and first choice purple to get canned for money Trippiers influence on squad so high his personal issues are affecting the whole team and we didn't even lose
-
Awful defending by Joelinton, awful goalkeeping by Pope letting it in on the near post like that. Still, fully deserved for Palace I guess. A point is still a robbery
